'Above'

3rd person POV:

In a dreary forest filled with wilted trees and eerie silence, appeared Kaal.

There was a humanoid being with it's arms long enough to touch the ground with nails long and sharp like razor, legs without feet, torso black like obsidian and head, there was no head, in its place was a mouth like a earthworm filled with corrosive fluid.

Kaal's POV:

What is this a abomination, I thought looking at the monster.

The monster ran towards me and attacked me with it's head full of teeth. I swiftly evaded the attack and tried to fly away.

'Tried', I could not fly properly here. I tried again and I levitated above the ground for a while before losing my balance and falling.

Just as I fell, It caught me in it's hands.

The monster came forward with it's mouth wide open trying to devour my head whole.

Fortunately, I was able to escape from it's hands ,after backing away a distance, I asked my AI to create a characteristic for my body to have laser eyes. Almost instantly,I felt my eyes burning, the monster was running towards to me as I used my laser eyes for the first time with the monster as the target. My laser vision cut the monster in half vertically but it was still alive even with it's body separated in half. I again used my eyes to cut it's body in 4 halves but it's flesh was still wriggling. I threw his body parts in my watch with telekinesis and watched it get destroyed completely after a few seconds. It was really tenacious, even a supreme god's blood could not escape annihilation for a second but it did.

I looked at my stats and was pleasantly surprised

It took 1000 creation value to create laser eyes, so this monster alone provided 1100 creation value. What was that monster?

It seems like the forest is dangerous. I have to quikly find human civilization to take shelter.

I used my spiritual sense to search but I disappointingly found that I could only spread my spiritual sense to 1km radius around me. And I didn't find any human settlement in a km distance from me.

I commanded my AI to search for a settlement and quickly received a reply,'A city-like structure is present at 8 0'clock direction, 200 km away from sir.' I decided to fly there.

I tried to fly again, and finally after my 5th try was I able to fly smoothly. I increased my speed and saw the contours of the city after flying for a few seconds.

I felt a barrier enveloping the city which made it extremely difficult to spread my spiritual sense inside. Fortunately, I could see with my eyes if I focused enough.

I observed the city.

The city seemed advanced with car-like vehicles and towering buildings in the midst of houses made by unknown materials.

The most noticeable structures were the 5 towers which seemed to be maintaining the barrier. Huge pillar-like energy gushed out of the top tower in the centre of the city and dyed the surroundings arround it purple.

The remaining 4 towers were in the 4 corners of the city and received the energy tendrils released by the tower in the centre and spewed it underground.

The city looked orderly with clean pathways made by steel-like materials.

I neared the barrier and pondered how to enter as there was no visible entrance. Just as I was pondering. A person came out of every tower and flew towards me.
