Love at first sight

It's a cheerful new morning and I find myself at a place that almost looks like a camp in the mountains, but instead of tents there are cabins. I go inside one of the wooden cabin. It seems to me that every cabin consists of six bunk beds.

I wonder who will sleep in my room with me.

It's noon and there's still no one in the room but me. A few minutes pass and someone walks into my room, it's just the two of us and the boy's father. I introduce myself: "Janko Burger, and you are?" — "My name is Evert Vreedrik." We are now standing in the middle of the room, I tell him he can sleep anywhere he wants, he happens to choose the bed above mine. I was shocked.

It's the evening, only Evert and I are in the room. Over a speaker far in the campsite it is announced that it is dinner. We immediately got up and left, heading to the dining hall a few meters outside our cabin. As you walk in, the smell of delicious food rushes up to your nose. I serve myself some food and sit down at a table in the corner of the dining hall. Unexpectedly, I realize that Evert has come to sit at my table. By now I realized he is just as shy as I am. Silence reigned over our table, we struggled to get a single word out of each other, when suddenly a fairly tall figure sat down at our table. She is thin and just starts talking to us. The lady talks to me and says,"Janko, is that you?" I freeze in shock and try to figure out where I know her from. Excitingly she says,"It's me Carla." and there I realize who it is, "You look so different since I last saw you." Carla says "It's been a few years, hasn't it? You still look exactly the same." Evert sits and stares at us uncomfortably as we catch up. I then decided to introduce Evert to Carla and Carla immediately started asking him questions. Then the biggest and most uncomfortable question came out of her,"So do you like Janko." My courage sinks into my shoes like sand through a sive.

I whisper to her softly,"I haven't told him yet." She looked at him in surprise and he replied, "We only met this afternoon, but sofar, yes..." I start to blush a little. Carla noticed right away that I liked him. How does she know me so well?
