Chapter 19 Megamart

[Initiating the parallel simulation]

[You found a glock pistol, as well as an image of an old man with a little baby girl in the left side cabinet of this room.]

[You found a diary and a file in the secret area of the same cabinet].

[You found old items, drinking water bottles, in the storage room.]

You found a lot of old books and scripts in the study room.

[You found an electric taser in the other room beside the table, a picture book, and a bedtime story book.]

Neil glanced at the items found in the search result of the parallel simulation. 

He first walked toward the storage room, looking at the large bottles of water fully capped; all of them are dusty on the surface, but he can see clear, non-contaminated water inside them.

After picking one water bottle up, he also found acid, car oil, a hammer, and a bunch of keys. He picked them all up and returned to the kitchen.

After drinking the water in a glass, he sighed in relief. 

'At least my hungry stomach is a little relieved after drinking water. I haven't eaten anything since yesterday; if it weren't for my will, I would have collapsed by now. I have to hurry up and eat something before checking anything else in the house.'

Neil thought to himself, then he picked the acid, oil, and keys and walked outside the house, closing the door.

He walked toward the main gate, after passing above the path in the middle of trees, he reached the main gate.

'This house is larger then I thought,' Neil thought to himself in surprise, looking at the wide open area and trees around him, then his footsteps halted in front of the gate.

'I should open the small gate instead of the big one,'

Neil thought looking at the small gate with a small lock and the big gate with chains, he poured a few acid drops in the bottom rusty area of the lock.

Instantly, the rust starter was boiling. Neil backed away a little, seeing the acid dropping on the ground from lock, but it's night and nothing is visible.

Neil then grabbed the lock carefully and dropped a few drops of oil in it's joints and bottom area, then he started inserting the keys in hand one by one.

Click!

After adjusting a matching key in the lock instantly with a click, the lock opened.

Neil removed the key and put the acid, oil, and other keys beside the wall, then opened the gate and walked outside, then locked the gate from outside.

After looking at empty streets around,

'It seems only those fuel stations may have opened shop at this hour,' Neil thought to himself.

"Initiate parallel simulation, find the open grocery shop or restaurant at this hour, then return to the house anonymously," Neil commanded instantly, time around him suspended.

[You found the 24-hour supermarket at 364-meter distance; after shopping, you returned anonymously.]

[You found an all-day grocery store in a fuel station at 789 meters; after buying groceries, you returned anonymously.]

"The 24 supermarket is a good option; it's near, and I can buy other required stuff there along with edibles," Neil muttered thoughtfully, then following the route and timing on the projection, he walked straight toward the supermarket.

After a while looking at a huge ten-story building, 

'T megamart,' Neil thought, looking at the huge T and megamart written beside it.

"Well, first of all, I have to satisfy my hunger," Neil muttered thoughtfully, then walked inside through the entrance.

Looking at the long, wide area with shops on both sides and escalators with lifts leading to upper floors in the middle,

He walked toward the lift, passing through the jewelry and lady garment shops on both sides. After tapping the lift button, 

Neil glanced at the number-changed lift descending from upper floors; he waited for a while.

Instantly the lift opened, and three females walked outside, looking at him strangely. 

"Hi, where can I find gents cloth shop?" Neil suddenly asked.

"It's on the 2nd floor, little brother." Instantly one of the females replied with a smile on her face and then walked away; the other also giggled and started commenting while following her away.

"Hehehe, have you seen his dressing?"

"It must be his grandfather's; that's why he is here to buy new ones."

"Don't laugh; he looked cute though."

Neil mouth twitched and then shook his head and walked inside the lift, then he clicked the number 2. 

Instantly the lift ascended, and he walked outside the lift on the second floor, looking at the shops with men's fashion on display. He sighed in relief and walked toward a shop.

The male staff looked at him up and down strangely and then asked, "Hello sir, how can I help you?"

Neil calmly glanced around and then pointed at the dummy outside with a white casual shirt and dark dress pants.

"I need casual clothes in that design large size; the cloth quality must be the best and comfortable; twelve pairs of different colors and designs, except the one I wear; pack the other clothes," Neil instructed calmly and walked forward, starting to look at the shoe display. 

"Yes, sir, please wait." The staff hurriedly replied and then walked toward the back storage area of the shop.

Neil nodded. He picked the simple black shoes from the shelf and tried them on. After walking a little, he nodded, satisfied. 

He has been walking in socks; thankfully they are made from leather, or his feet must have been damaged after walking more than 300 meters.

"Sir, you can try our new Jmix shoes; you can wear them easily with both casual and formal dress." Instantly another male salesman appeared beside him and recommended the white and blue pair of shoes, with classic style yet they can be considered stylish sport shoes.

Neil nodded and picked one of them; after trying, he felt comfortable and easy, then he nodded.

"I need these three pairs of shoes; pack these two blue and white ones, and I will wear the black one." He glanced at the staff and instructed pointed at the shoes he tried.

"Yes, sir." The staff nodded with a smile, then hurriedly left to pack the pair of shoes.
