Chapter 13: Dirty Tricks

I'm wandering around the forest right now. I heard the third gunshot, meaning two minutes has passed and I still have no progress. Why did she have to trust this to me?

All I see is tall trees, some bushes, and a clear blue sky. What a beautiful day it is. I should probably take her out for a date, or maybe not?

I closed my eyes as the cold wind touches my skin and messed up my perfect hair. Should I make her pay for it later? I'm suffering here. Then I heard the fourth gunshot, signaling the start of another sixty seconds and the end of three minutes.

Running around this forest is tiring, but what choice do I have? I can't fail her and I'm sure I'll find that bow and arrow before that bitch.

I kept running and running. Looking to the right, left, in front and below yet nothing found. 'Come on, Elijah. She trusted you to do this simple job so do it properly!' I thought to myself.

"Found anything, mister yellow?" Hyuna asked, she suddenly popped out of a bush.

"You have eyes, right? You also have common sense so please use it." I sarcastically answered and walked past her to continue my search then she grabbed my right arm, stopping me.

I love flirting with girls but this girl is different. She treated my girl badly so should I do a bit of revenge?

"Do you really want to stay on their side? Alexa is probably losing now because of her anxiety. You know, you have good looks, it's a waste on Alexa so come to our side." Those words ticked me off. I slowly turned around and forced a smile.

"I'm sorry but I have to reject. I don't want a slut by my side. I only need the lady of my life." I stated and shakes her hand away then left.

"You will regret this!" I heard her yell. I will regret anything but my choice to choose my lady over anything. Alexa, I'm willing to give up anything for you, so hold on there and wait for me.

I heard the fifth gunshot. They are almost halfway done and I still have no clue! I kept running and running around this forest full of bushes, weeds, dirt, and tall trees. There were several pit holes and I'm lucky to notice them so I haven't fell for any traps yet.

I continued running around the forest then I felt someone following me. They didn't ambush us inside the arena but they will ambush me here? They really are fond of dirty tricks.

I stopped in the middle of the forest and pet my gaze to examine the surroundings. "Come out already and stop bring a coward," I stated and five men show up from bushes and trees. "Let's get this over with, shall we?" I asked, a smirk forming in my lips. I then pulled out my pistols from my bag then shoots two of the men in their heads. Bullseye.

They started throwing daggers and I tried to deflect or avoid each one of them. I shot another one of them but a dagger scarred my face. Tsk. I then took a smoke bomb in my bag and used it as a smokescreen. I then took out my dagger and went to their direction. As the smoke disappears, the two men fell on the floor, blood rushing out of their necks.

"My beautiful face got cut, Alexa will worry." I said to myself then continued walking as I heard the sixth gunshot.

"Damn it!" I cursed. Calm down first, Elijah. There is something off with this game. I closed my eyes as I cleared my mind from unnecessary thoughts.

I should have found the bow and arrow by now, if there is even one. Wait. This is a trap! There is no bow and arrow in this forest in the first place! What do I do now? I can't just go back there and say I didn't found any! Alexa would be disappointed and it might ruin her play!

I grabbed my hair in frustration. Alexa trusted me. Come on Elijah, think of a solution. Think of a substitute.

I went to the shore and the cold air greeted me once again. I closed my eyes to clear my mind from my thoughts. There is no use panicking. I need a solution.

That's when I noticed the car. Right! We brought weapons and Alexa brought her bow and arrow. I quickly went to the back of the car and was about to open it when I remember something. The keys.

I checked my pockets but nothing was found. I am pretty sure it was in my pocket! Then the realization hits me. Hyuna took it. That moment when she stopped me, she took the keys from my back pocket.

I was about to search for her when she appeared from the sea. She was all wet, her clothes revealing her curves. Is this how she plans to make me go to their side?

"Where are my keys?" I asked, straight to the point. She then laughed. "Here is a deal. I will give you the keys but you will join my side," she said, smiling creepily. One thing is for sure, this girl is a pervert.

"I don't need your deal." I answered and walked closer to her.

"You're seriously rejecting my offer?" She asked, giving me a seductive smile and the way she runs her hands over her body, clearly trying to seduce me. If only Alexa would do that...

"Yes, I am. I didn't say I accept it, right?" I said and reached out to my keys but she was fast enough to pull it away from me. Alexa is right, she is fast.

"Then we will do this the hard way." She stated with a bit of irritation in her voice. What does she mean?

She then makes a throwing stance and throws the keys to the sea. This girl! I quickly jumped to the water at the same time I heard the seventh gunshot. I'm seriously assassinating them and putting an end to their dirty tricks!
