The mansion
"Oh, I understand." Amanda took a deep breath looking nervously at the road ahead, as the car smoothly drove on the uphill road.
"Have you ever been to this part of the town before Amanda?" Adam asked in a casual tone.
"No sir. I have heard several stories about the woods and how dangerous they are. I never dared to even walk up to the edge of the mountain." The girl shuddered a bit as the trees slowly started hovering on top of road, covering the sunlight, making it look a bit dark.
"Haha. Stories? What kind of stories?" Adam chuckled, turning to look at Amanda's petrified face.
"Well, all sorts of wild animals which attack the people who dare enter this road. Then also there is a rumour of a spooky graveyard around, which if seen by anybody gets killed by some ghost. There are many more... I guess just some stupid rumours." Amanda smiled as she shrugged her shoulders brushing away the rumours.
