Guard debacle

"I thought the medication would work, sir." The words from shila made me remember what I had forgotten this morning. I take pills ever since the nightmare started happening. The nightmare constantly builds up from guilt of me killing or watching someone get killed. The thing is I don't kill people on purpose unless forced to.

"Well anyway, the reason I came her was to Tell you that the guards are asking for you." My eyes widen and I start to breathe shallow breaths.

"Why are they here?!"

"They wanted to ask about a man who was killed recently." My heart squeezes up. I realize that they came here to interrogate me about the Man who tried to stab me the other day.

"Let them inside." Trying to act innocent, I accompanied shila to the door so that they don't become suspicious. Upon opening the door, the men stepped inside and looked around. One of them seemed to have scoffed while the others turned their attention to me. There were three men in total. The one at the front had the face of a man who has seen his fair share of bloodshed. He had the remnants of a beard and didn't look please with me. The other two looked like they had absolutely no experience in Guard work whatsoever. Their facial expressions though, were very untrusting and seemed like they were here to put me in my place. They don't even know if I had done the Murder but they already look like they will arrest me.

"May I offer some water? Maybe some wine will suffice?" Shila was very calm and collected as she said these words. As she escorted them to the kitchen, one stared at me. I go upstairs hoping that shila will take care of this situation.

"HEY, WHERE'S THE KID GOING?!" I stop and slowly go to the table and sit down. As I ask shila for some tea the man says something.

"So why did you do it."
