Everyone has flaws

***After Exam. ***

The lecture said "seems like you made an impression to the vice chancellor, she wants Asians, Africans, and all races, people like you to be lectures here."

Laura said "has nothing to do with me, probably tired of being a yes person and being boss around. "

The lecture said "still you must be glad you wanted change you got it."

Laura said "hiring few people who are not white does not change the system here, the will always be privileged and racist people like you who make someone like me not belong here."

The lecture said "Now I'm racist you people like to make everything about race, you don't like how something is done, you cry racism well I don't care and you are a smart student but from the hood."

Laura said "you're ignorant dumb human being, how did you become a lecture and did you become one to spread your hatreds towards black students?"

The lecture said "careful you do want to graduate here, so don't force me to make sure you fail."

Laura said "I am not afraid of you, and people like me I will make sure that they get here, deserve best education especially us people from the hood right?."

*Jakes went to Laura, find her with Mr Grey*

Jakes said "Mr Grey."

The lecture said "you're dating Ms Black, make sure you don't end up in the hood, she does not belong in your world and she only care about her own people "only black lives matter" what about us ?"

Jakes said "you are a fool, there would not be campaigns about black lives matter if everyone knew that, recognize that and when you look at Laura what do you see black girl from disadvantage background from the hood Right ?"

The lecture said "pretty much, what else is there poverty loves black people "disadvantage background" new term to make black people who are poor feel good about themselves."

Laura said "that does not shock me at all how stupid you are."

Jakes said " she is a human being she has feelings, hurts like you we are human being first, before the world labels us, think how your words affect her and all these students you call them hood rats."

The lecture said "life was great, when she was not allowed to stand in front of me."

Jakes said "too bad for you, the world is changing and if you took your time to learn you will see we are all the same. We all want better future and what is so scarring about getting to know the other race, you don't have to like their culture or understand them just respect them that's not hard to ask."

The lecture said "your father must be proud jakes, Laura has turn you into some human activist. Soon you will be in the hood passing them some soup and bread those lazy idiots."

Jakes said " My father is not like you and you can go on say your insults nothing will change, I love Laura you will respect her or I will have you remove in this school I can also play that game better than you."

Laura said "babe, let it go not worthy it."

Mr Grey, The lecture went away.

Jakes said "are you alright babe?"

Laura said "I'm good that fool can't ruin my day, and to think he is a Christian man makes me sick to my stomach."

Jakes said "just because you're Christian does not mean you have all things figured out, their human beings just like everyone with flaws."

Laura said "like everyone, they believe in God should lead by example and some of these white Christians they're quiet when it comes to talking about such matters racism black lives and injustice I can go on."

Jakes said "I know you can, maybe they don't think it's their fight, they are Christians not human's right activists fighting for human rights being treated equally."

Laura said "more reason for them to stand up and make a change I get it, the world moves on while some of us don't forget, does not affect them right?"

Jakes said "let's head home, enough about changing the world."

Laura said "it only takes one person to make a change and that will be me."

Jakes said "so passionate, Laura business woman and activist. "

Laura said "why not? "

*Eric's place.*

Eric's Father said "how are the exams?"

Eric said "Good, I'm confident I will do well."

Eric's Father said "how is Laura, she does not have anyone now, is she close to her stepmother?"

Eric said "so many questions, do you want to be a father to her now?"

Eric's Father said "I'm her biological father and I promise her father I will look after her.

Eric said "how, you were there at the funeral didn't say a word to her."

Eric's Father said "I don't know what to say to her."

Eric said "tell her the truth, be honest and I will tell her to come here to finally put an end to this matter."
