After getting into the city with Eliza's reference letter, I jumped onto the roof of the first house I saw.

"So this is the capital city? Interesting."

I jumped down while one of the guards at the gate went away running. He was bringing the message of our request to meet the queen. Ashley stretched her hands.

"Let's have some nice food while we wait for word to come back."

We entered a lavish restaurant and ordered some food. There was no bias towards us as we were served. We were served some good meat, which pretty much surprised me. We were served meat at the Cheryl Villa Hotel but I assumed it was because Eliza wanted to please us. I pulled a waitress over.

"I thought elves don't kill animals for food."

She laughed.

"That's just superstition sir or else how would we be able to live this long without meat."

Maria looked at the waitress.

"Then how come there was a superstition that elves don't eat meat?"
