Joy and Martin's visit and a few hours sleep had improved Nina and Rory's mood. Abby's arrest was now being viewed in a much more positive light. The suffering they had gone through had come to an end. It was time to kick back and have a few drinks with the friends who had helped them crack the case.

Yes, there was still some sympathy for Abby, but she had caused trouble for a number of people. Whatever things she had suffered in the past, there was no excuse for deliberately terrorising residents of the house. She must have known that she was doing wrong. Even when Mr Hampton was ill and Nina had a new baby, she had carried on her campaign.
