Nimbus Complexion

Consumed by a spell from the antagonist of that timeline, Dexis, sends the Great Hero Of Time Otonashi 2000 years into the future. As he encounters Sakura the strongest and Yui who lacks confidence. A typical cliché hero, however, the howls from deep within yearn for the truth and twist the lock. Releasing a swarm of memories from Earth to resurface on what transpired that day in Bur Academy. His failure to protect his friend, or rather, the person his heart constantly sprung to life for, causes Otonashi to become the trickster and seek vengeance against the woman who tormented the girl he loved. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Note: This can get kinda dark at times so just a heads up lol. Honestly some of my older chapters are YUCKEE! I'll rework on them... One day. Thanks for even reading my first novel even if it's a little. Thanks Muishiki for art cover :)

Hero Academy?

I awaken from my slumber, sitting up and detecting Sakura expressing the most disgusting look on her face.

"G-good morning--"

"If you call 11 PM, a good morning then..." Sakura sits on her chair and crosses her legs. "I don't know what to tell you." She closes her eyes, sighing.

I smile, staring at Sakura who wasn't impressed. It's a little more chil---

"GAH?!" I release the blanket from my grasp to reveal I'm only wearing blue boxes. A small build up of sweat drops from my forehead... I'm horrified, Why am I naked?! I raise my finger, directing it at Sakura.

Sakura catches on almost immediately as if I was attempting to steal her diamond.

"What? I was only washing and mending your ridiculous clothing." She glared. Spikes formed behind her.

EEK?! Terrifying, I want to flee. It feels like a cold knife stabbing through my heart. I require an escape route and hastily?! I scan around the room, noticing a door with a sign saying Toilet.

"Uhm, m-ay I use --the restroom?" I quiver as if questioning a teacher.

Sakura sighed again...

"Fine." Sakura diverted away from me and stared out of the window.

Oh, thank god, I hopped out of Sakura's bed and grasp the bathroom doorknob, bolted into the bathroom. Closing the door behind me, staring at the golden toilet dumbfounded. Just how rich is she? My surroundings feel like I've entered an insane asylum with so much white paint. Damn, a hot tub as well? I'm kinda jealous Sakura.

After I released my bladder, I stared at a square mirror. Hm, what if I use one of my old abilities foresight? My surroundings will alter to an orange appearance as I can glimpse two seconds into the future. I remember being sent into this low-lit room as a goddess watched me. "You can only use foresight 3 times a day." A goddess in a lengthy white dress with huge breasts and long shining blonde hair stated.

Yep, that's what Goddess Fuka said to me, a little disappointed but whatever.

I observe myself, facing the mirror. Born with grey eyes, people informed me that my eyes look soulless. Like, come on, morons, can't help that. I hover my hand over my left eye. Alright, I'll test foresight... I focused. My surroundings altered orange like usual until a crack changed my vision to a green glow. Why is it green?! The light switched back and forth between orange and green. A few seconds later. The mirror shattered as my eyes poured with blood, causing me to cover them.

"WHAT IS THIS?!" I scream, stumbling backwards striking the golden toilet and landing my ass on the ground. It's as if someone continuously poured shampoo into my eyes but even worse.

The bathroom door collided with the wall as Sakura entered, her expression looking slightly worried.

"What's going on?!" Sakura's footsteps echoed as she sprinted to me.

I feel dizzy, closing my eyes once again. Feeling Sakura's warmth embrace.

"Jeez, what's wrong with this lad? I swear I'm always catching him." Sakura whined.

I sense Sakura setting me back onto her bed, this familiar mattress. Hours seemed to have elapsed.

I wake up and immediately step out of bed. Wait? My uniform? It's on me?! Did Sakura set it on me as I blacked out? How kind of her, despite the opposite cold feeling I receive.

The front doorknob slowly rotates as Sakura walks in, wielding two glasses of orange something. Is it juice?

"You're in a hurry huh?" Sakura said, approaching her desk and placing the glasses on top. Leaving again and coming in with an extra chair. Planting her ass on the seat. Sakura lifts one of the glasses up, and gradually drinks a short of what I presume is orange before staring at me.

"So, you know where we are right?" She tilted her head, her silver hair isn't styled anymore. Guess she undid the low bun style? Ah well, it was pretty cute on her though.

Sakura points at the empty chair as I proceed to sit beside the ice queen, I'm the Hero Of Time and I'm trembling at Sakura's presence.

"I don't have a clue." I laugh awkwardly.

I raise my finger toward Sakura's eyes. Something has been bothering me a little.

"What's that in your eyes? Like a star or something, is it a new fashion trend---"

"YOU WHAT?!" Sakura slammed the desk as if I was insulting her very existence.

"D-did I say something wrong? Aha." I continue to laugh awkwardly, scratching my head.

"Of course?! Only a select few on this planet don't have stars!" Sakura stands up, towering over me like a beast about to pounce on unsuspecting prey.

"It's in our nature!" Sakura was clearly stunned at my response before touching my eye. Causing my eye to drizzle water.

Sakura realised what she was doing and sat back in her chair.

"Excuse my behaviour, ahem." she coughed.

"Ours isn't the bizarre one." Sakura points at me.

"Yours is." She added, crossing her legs.

"I'm a little stunned, I met a wandering star." Sakura exposed a small smile before it disappeared into the cracks of time.

Aha, Sakura makes it sound like I'm years into the future. I select the remaining glass as I take a sip of the orange liquid. Hm, strange, It's as if you mixed fruits together. I wonder how it still looks orange though? Ah, well... Not like I'm an expert anyway.

"Duh!" Sakura pouted, standing up abruptly.

"We're in one of the four best locations in the entire universe?! The Hero Academy!" Sakura looked smug with hands on hips then wiped her nose. Her expression slowly faded into a neutral gaze again.

"You must be joking, you're here for the entrance exam tomorrow right?" Sakura stated. Staring at the clock above her bed.

I felt my eyes twirl round and round. Hero Academy? Wha-- Wait, I vaguely remember Takashi speaking with La about inventing one. They are such an awesome couple. I'm kinda jealous.

Another thing has been bothering me, I have to ask.

"What year is this??"

Sakura stared at me with a confused expression.

"Huh?! Were you dropped as a kid?" She growled before positioning her chair slightly to the side. "It's the year 4000!" She stated, pressing her lips against the glass and devouring the orange liquid.

Wh-what?! Every cell in my body died at Sakura's words. A spirit emerges out of my mouth. No way?! THE YEAR IS 4000?!I jump up.

"Y-you're lying?!" My fingers twitch as they're pointed at Sakura.

"Lying? Me? That's preposterous!" Her hand is over her heart, before a sinister blue aura forms behind her.

"Ahem, retract your fingers." Sakura's eyes pierced through me Like I was trying to keep a fire alive from evil snow. I will not crumble!

"Oh, sorry..." I sit back down like a good puppy, tail wiggling.

Wait, that reminds me If it is the year 4000 then... I wonder how Hex magic has developed. "Okay, How powerful is the Hex magic?" Smiling like the rising dawn.

"The what now?" Sakura played with her glass.

My spirit leaves my body even further, drifting beyond heaven, shattering my soul into fragments.

HOW?! What on Earth happened to Hex magic? if the year is 4000 then was it lost in time? I shake my head, no way! Everyone used Hex magic during my time. I close my eyes. If that's true then... then, it's possible I could've been sent into another world? AH?! I felt like ripping my hair out. Wouldn't I meet another goddess before that though? I cover my face. Oh, my brain is burning with all this confusion.

My deep thought was busted by Sakura drumming my forehead with her finger. "You good?" She said, continuing to tap my forehead.

I shake my hands back and forth. "Y-yeah." I notice a book on her desk.

"What's that about?" I smile, redirecting the wind off-topic.

"Oh? This?!" Sakura towers over me again, her eyes sparkling as bright as a sci-fi spaceship.

"Only the legend!" She leapt back, twirling around like a performer on stage resulting in her dress joining her like opening an umbrella.

"The one and only, Legends Of The Great Heroes Of Time?!" Her eyes released so many stars at once.

Wow, and I thought Sakura doesn't have emotion or expresses them as well--HOLD ON?! HEROES OF TIME?!
