Chapter 55: The First Love Confession (Part 1)

"Did something happen?" Julius asked, a worried expression on his face.

Lyra shook her head, still wearing a cheerful smile. "Nope, what makes you think that?"

"It's just that you came all the way here without sending a message or anything." Julius glanced at his phone, which had a messaging feature. 

They had all made sure to exchange contact details to communicate with each other or notify one another in case of emergencies. Since he hadn't heard anything from them, he had assumed everything was going fine.

"And you're wearing Ruby's cloak," he added.

Lyra quickly averted her eyes and tried to laugh it off. "Haha, nothing happened... and about her cloak... I'm just borrowing it for a bit."

Julius sighed in relief and slumped onto the bed. "That's good. I was worried for a second."

"Oh yeah, that reminds me, last I barged into your room like this was when Ava was in danger." Lyra mentioned, taking a seat on the edge of the bed.
