Chapter 47: The Level 0 (Part 1)

"Next, state your number and line up in front of the two machines furthest to the left," Jessica instructed. It seemed that the short, pink-haired girl, Jessica, still had more work cut out for her.

After a quick glance at her, Julius shifted his attention to the small line in front of him. He had expected the line to be more substantial since they had taken their time receiving treatment at the tent, but that was not the case at all. Only five candidates were in front of him. The reason for this was that there were other rooms with the same machines, and candidates split themselves among the rooms for the tests.

"Shall we go to another room? There might be a shorter wait time before it's our turn," Julius suggested. The others agreed, so that's what they did. They made their way to the entrance of the next room, passed through it, and headed into the subsequent rooms.
