Chapter 31 : Spar

As Cain was preparing himself to go to the next spar , Olivia came next to him patting his shoulder lightly and whispering in his ear

"Show only the least of your ability and try not to use mana at all , if possible only use sword techniques which are non lethal , I won't help a person who hurt the Primordial's daughter you understand"

Cain looking at Olivia took a deep breath nodded his head and headed to the arena , Aurora Aquis also came and stood infront of him she came closer and asked him

"What rank are you ?"

Cain was looking at her closely now , her eyes were alluring and hair grew down which was lustrous and her slender body was seductive even though the other two women were more voluptuous they didn't hold a candle to her beauty , Cain was getting mesmerized by her appearance that he would naturally do anything to please her but he quickly snapped out of it and activated his Primordial's mind ability as he found it necessary now . Looking at her he spoke

"C rank , I'm getting closer to B rank . I'm really scared that even a small attack may do irreparable harm to me . If possible i would want to forfeit "

"Tsk , Tsk . No no dear Cain , Looking at you i can make out your lying but no need to worry lets see how well you fight and don't be afraid the monk with us can heal almost all injuries "

"Please don't hurt me too much I have very weak constitution "

"Fine fine "

Aurora went back and took her position , Cain also held his sword in a defensive position . Both waiting for a signal or anyone to start the fight.

Out of nowhere Aurora shot 3 huge water balls at high speeds , Cain evaded 2 of them and another one which he cut through using his sword .

He then rushed quickly to lunge at Aurora but was shot with a huge waterball which sent him crashing backward , he was thrown back and fell on the ground .

Cain started to cough up blood and started to shout in pain , the spar was done in only 30 seconds and Cain wasn't able to attack .All of them were confused about what happened except Olivia as she quickly spoke

"He must have had a heavy internal injury lets get him healed , I think that's all for the Spar "

Even Liam was confused as he thought Cain was strong but not to this weak as he was also acknowledged by Ryken . Even Elaine and Rebecca was confused , but Olivia was going to pick up Cain who was coughing up blood and shouting in pain on the ground .

A dreadful aura covered the arena all of them started to suffocate even Cain became a little alerted but he continued to enact his masterplan to get one shot and start coughing up blood . This aura was From Aurora as she looked at Olivia and spoke

"This spar is over when I say its over , Rebecca give me the Domain artifact and its an order I'm not asking "

Rebecca didn't speak a word and did as she was ordered and asked as she bowed to Aurora

"Tell Thorkell it's nothing important and not to panic . Most Importantly he shouldn't disturb me"

"Yes" Rebecca listening to this went back and didn't ask any question .

Aurora then started to move towards Cain and spoke

"Are you looking down on me ?"

"He...lp... Pa..in.." Cain didn't stop his act and continued . Aurora started to look at Cain with disgust and spoke

"Are you really this type of guy ? some beating will get you to speak " After this Aurora started to chant some thing which was similar to spells , the Artifact started to glow and it split into tiny peices and formed a barrier covering the whole fighting area like a net . After this she spoke

"All light , voices and sounds can come from the outside but nothing to the outside . From the outside this looks like a huge black dome , don't worry about your identity being revealed speak"

"Please... Pain... Kuff..Kuff" Cain continued to lie on the ground and cough blood .

"Huh , so still acting like this . Time to roughen you up" Aurora then created two highly condensed water blades and aimed it at Cain's legs . Looking at Cain she asked

"Last chance speak up"

"Please.... help .... "Before Cain could cough up blood his legs were cutoff and blood started to splatter , though Cain was experienced to pain he could heal up more to appear more applealing he started to shout even louder

"Ahhhh!!!! My legs!!! Stop!!! Please!!!!" Looking at Cain indifferently Aurora started to a water blade aiming at his head and spoke

"I have no problem in killing you and after your head is split I'll take your body with me so last chance speak up"

"Stop!!!! "

As she shot several water blades at Cain without any choice Cain let his fire heal his legs and shot himself out of the trajectory of the water blades . He was several meters away from his position and his legs were on flames as they were getting regenerated . He looked in irritation towards Aurora as she started to smile at him and spoke

"Finally and don't worry even if you were not in the office and in the general hall of the guild Thorkell would have identified you but what gave you away was because we met you at the restaurant "

Cain not focusing on her , started to barrage the barrier with attacks and punches and not even a dent was seen. The whole barrier shook for his each attack .Seeing him Aurora spoke

"This can be broken only by a 10th stage Saint so don't even dream about it or it can be reverted by me or if I die and you can kill me if you can face the consequences "

Cain then looking at her in anger asked as he walked closer to Aurora

"What do you want you can probably guess my identity by now "

"Whoa cool down what do I want Hmm , I don't know i guess i need to think" Cain was getting angrier by the second he now couldn't care less about burning the city that his identity was revealed . But Aurora walked to him and gave him a golden sheet of paper and spoke

"This is the contract I want you on , check it "

Cain then looked at the contract in his hand

Soul bond contract

If the conditions are violated by any of the contractors the contractor's will have their souls obliterated and control of their bodies given to the other contractee (Can be annulled by 7th stage saint ranks easily).

A battle will be held between the contractors for 1 hour at the end of one hour the person who is more closer to death based on the internal analysis of the contract will be the person who looses the battle and the other is the winner. the winner can also be announced if the opponent is extremely close to death .

Case A :

If Cain [Heir of the Flame Primordial ]is the winner , the loser in this case Aurora Aquis [Direct Descendant of the Fluid Primordial] or in a draw ,will make sure to hide all the fact that they have come into contact with Cain and even erase the knowledge that they have met an existence similar to Cain . Directly or indirectly the information will not be disclosed from Aurora Aquis and her companions .

Case B :

If Cain [Heir of the Flame Primordial ]is the loser , the winner in this case Aurora Aquis [Direct Descendant of the Fluid Primordial] . Cain will serve Aurora Aquis for 5 years as her aide and follow all her instructions and demands .

Conditions :

1} Both Contractors cannot harm physically or mentally each other directly or indirectly .

2}Contractor Cain is able to reject an order if and only if his life would be in imminent danger and death would be the result

3} For 5 years and extra 2 years term Aurora Aquis will look into it such that the real identity of Cain will not be disclosed to anyone

NOTE : Both contractors will not be allowed to share any detail about the contract in any scenario.

Cain looked at this thought

'System , so can i break this contract after signing it'

[It maybe possible at Peak stage but there will likely be high backlash , this is possible as the Host has innate control of souls ]

'Is it possible to break this barrier and can she defeat me ?'

[No this barrier is highly strong , even to produce a little crack it would likely require all your strength . I would recommend the contract now as this is the best possible way and though the opponent may be stronger this is the only feasible option left ]

Cain then after an hour of thinking he looked at Aurora who was sleeping on a levitating bed of water and spoke

"Can I change any conditions ?"

"hmm.. , No .This or I will reveal you're identity , even if i don't have proof we can kill you without any repercussions . So answer "

"Ok"

"Great , did you sign ? or just few drops of your blood are enough "

Cain dropped some blood on the paper and the paper completely absorbed it and started to glow a little , Aurora did the same the contract started to glow more brightly and started to break apart in to several tiny pieces and seeped into Cain and Aurora's body and the both heard a voice in their head

'The battle will start in 30 seconds Countdown 30 , 29 , 28 , 27 ..'

Cain used his weapons ring to fully equip himself with a sword in his hands and improvised armor which covered his whole body from head to toe and he activated his Hellfire body through small flames started to appear on him and started to some out through the crevices and openings of the armor.

Aurora looking at him in joy started to prepare herself all the mana around started to swirl around her water droplets started to collect all around her and she equipped herself 2 daggers which extended to length of swords with highly dense water between them .
