Chapter 17 : Found Them

Similar to level 1 part of the dungeon , Cain cleared level 2 and level 3 within 5 days , they had White Goblins and ogres respectively . The White Goblins , were as the name says white skinned and faster than the normal goblins and the ogres were strong as the Luxite Goblins , but had a little more defense. Cain searched all of level 2 and level 3 to find any loot , but only could find few worn out weapons and some silver and gold welks.

Cain was now resting near the level 4 entrance . There were little to no people as the next levels were very dangerous and even A ranks would have difficulty to come out unscathed . Till now he burned all the beasts he killed and absorbed their souls . As Cain was resting he asked

"System show me all the new skills gained since the bandit camp and how much stat points I've got"

[Host has 14 free stat points and the new skills gained are

Hammer Battle arts (Mastery : intermediate)

Battle Archery arts (Mastery : beginner)

Swift Stab (Mastery : beginner)

Host can merge Berserk and Regeneration to immortal hellfire body , Earth stomp with Ground Manipulation to increase mastery

"Nothing very useful , maybe i need to kill a mage and absorb his soul to get more mage related skills , the skills i'm getting now are mostly shadowed by immortal hellfire body and Absolute combat mastery ..Sigh"

Cain was getting more frustrated since he came Zrervin , the problem he was worried about now if he snaps and starts to take out his frustration on the city itself . He could burn the whole city down and with his immortal hellfire body except Olivia no one would be able to stop him .

He needed to let off some steam . Fighting strong enemies would be the best method but the dungeon was disappointing . But Cain decided to continue , he wanted to scout the 4 th level and return to the city as he was less on resources and also had a lot of materials.

Cain then used stealth and moved to the 4th level.

When he came to the 4 th level , there were no people except Cain . He could observe a large beasts moving around the dungeon . The dungeon was illuminated and at the top he could see a large collection of crystals , through which light shined. Seeing this he asked

"What are those crystals ?"

[the are Lumic Crystals , the absorb mana and emit light . These here are natural made , Mages also can make them but the natural ones have more durability]

Listening Cain slowly crept behind a rock and observed the creatures roaming around the dungeon , they had large white bodies with visible pink muscles in their underbelly and on their palms and feet . Their face had a large helmet like bone protruding out below which lied their pink faces . their mouth had large claws coming out of their mouth and a tail as long as their body . There was protruding spines from where their backbone lied till the end of their tail . while Cain was observing them , his system started to relay information to him

Description : These large ceatures stay in groups which is led by a variant Keldun Called Black Keldun . The have poor eye sight , but exceptional hearing . They a special armor made by their skill bone armor , which they shed semi-annually , this gives them high defense , they are also agile and have poison stinger at the end of their tail . The Black Keldun is A+ rank and has 5 tails with complete black body

Seeing this Cain was excited . He would get to battle strong opponents . Cain left the thought of retreating now . He wanted to fight , Cain quickly changed his clothes to a poor shabby pant and was shirtless . He stored all the stuff inside the space ring and held a ragged sword , which he collected in the previous levels. He arranged his space ring so that he could take out a sword swiftly .

Cain then silently crept towards a group of three and applied mana around his sword and aimed at the the tail of one of the keldun , aiming between the protruding spines he slashed his sword . The tail cleanly came off. The Keldun Screeched in agony as its tail was cut and started to attack Cain , while the other two jumped at Cain . The other Keldun started to run away in the same direction while these three attacked Cain.

The one which jumped , Cain stabbed it in it's underbelly . With the Keldun Stabbed , Cain Used Lacerating Strike towards the other Keldun , The stabbed Keldun had its abdomen cut out as its organs spilled out and hot blood splashed on Cain , continuing the strike it landed on the other keldun , It's bone armor stopped the strike but had a huge crack on it and leapt back as the Keldun with the cut tail attacked with its sharp claws which missed.

Only Two Kelduns were left and one lied on the ground with its innards splattered and bleeding .Cain used Flash step and tried to sliced the neck of the Keldun with the cut tail , but it blocked it with one of it's arms , but the arm was left half cut making it immobile , but Cain was then stabbed in his back with the other's tail . Cain grabbed that tail and stabbed the other Keldun near its hind part , and used lacerating strike to cut through it's stomach killing it. Then Cain started to move towards the other immobile and sliced its neck .

Cain started to burn these bodies as he felt the ground shake , as he stared to a distance he could see around Kelduns running towards him which were led by a large Black Keldun . As he saw them he could sense their strength , Atleast one Expert Rank and several A ranks were needed to subdue this group. Even Vionica Vark or Norman Fraiser won't be able to defeat them and die . Cain now understood why it was not explored even though it was an old dungeon.

Cain threw away the ragged sword in his hand which broke into pieces and took another one out and wore a gauntlet on his left hand and charged towards the hoard of Keldun . Seeing this the Black Keldun roared which made the group more fierce .

Cain couldn't ask for more he used WarDemon's Roar , startling all the Keldun and charged towards the group he , then used Ground Manipulation to erected walls around the group and started to chop of the heads of the Kelduns paralyzed in fear , as he killed almost 10 of them the Black Keldun Roared and awakened every Keldun and making them attack.
