[3.22] End of Year 2117 Part 1 - Forest Vacation

The members of the Helper Club went on a vacation together to the Than Tie forest. They prepared everything and gathered at the Amarta apartment park.

There were already Radit, Raka, Fauzan, Leonardo, Steven, Amelia, Laras, and Hana. They waited there first, which was natural since they were still living in Amarta's apartment.

"Where are the new members? They haven't come yet?" said Steven.

"I don't know, they said in the group chat that they came here together, right?" said Radit.

"Just wait, it will arrive," Amelia said.

They waited a few more minutes, then the members arrived together.

"Oh, they arrived too," said Raka.

They greeted each other and interacted with small talk. Radit looked at them carefully, especially the girls.

"Hey! It's normal," Amelia said, which surprised Radit.

"It's just shocking," said Radit.

"So, which girl did you see?" Amelia said teasingly. Hana, who accidentally heard their conversation, immediately focused her hearing.

"What the hell, there's nothing like that. I'm just a little surprised maybe?" said Radit.

"Surprised?" said Amelia questioningly.

"Yes, we have always been at school for several months, right? Even when we go out for a moment, we still wear uniforms. This is the first time I've seen them dressed casually," said Radit.

"Hoh, because of that. But the girls are beautiful in their casual clothes," Amelia said.

"What the hell, bye, just shut up for a long time," said Radit, a little annoyed.

"So they're ugly huh? That's too bad, I'll tell you..." said Amelia.

"Eh, how come!" said Radit.

"So what?" said Amelia.

"Well, I can't say if it's pretty or not, but yes... it's pretty easy on the eyes," Radit said with some embarrassment.

"Hm... so that's your answer," said Amelia, wanting to laugh a little.

"You're laughing," Radit said, embarrassed.

"No-no, why would I laugh. I was just a little surprised by your answer," Amelia said.

"That's right, you're laughing at me. I'll complain to Leo," said Radit.

"Why did you bring up Leo? You're so annoying," Amelia said, and a small argument ensued.

On the other hand, Hana was staring at her own clothes, "Does he like my clothes?" she said in a small voice.

"What did you say?" said Laras.

"Ah, nothing really, just talking to myself," Hana said.

"Well then, let's get those things and tools up there, the bus has arrived," Laras said. "Yes, ok," Hana quickly replied.

They then loaded up their own belongings and others to go to the hut in Than Thie forest.

During the trip, they saw the city returning to normal. However, in the eyes of Radit and his clubmates, especially those closest to him, normal days are long gone.

In fact, behind the city's seemingly improved appearance, things are not as rosy as they seem.

Their private buses had already passed through the safe zone and entered the alert area.

Although it is a habitable area, there are quite a few people who move around here and many also vacation because the outside of this city is indeed quite beautiful to relax in, even after the last destruction.

"Traveling in this gray zone so casually feels strange to me," Steven says.

"Gray Zone?" said Ronal, who was sitting across from him.

"Yeah, you know, I mean this level 3 zone is not clear whether it's safe or not," Steven said.

"I know what you mean, it's just weird walking around where you can get attacked by random monsters," said Bobi who was on the opposite bench.

"Yeah, right! Why does everyone think it's normal? The world is getting weirder," said Raka.

"Yes, that's right. The world is not normal when Fauzan can turn into a tiger," said Leonardo, who was sitting with Bobi while pointing to Fauzan who was eating meat.

The men stare at Fauzan who eats his meat with gusto.

"Hey, what's wrong?" said a confused Fauzan.

"You're looking more and more like a tiger, aren't you?" said Waryadi, who was sitting next to her.

"Hey, don't get me wrong, I'm a lion, not a tiger," Fauzan said, showing his pride.

"What's the difference?" said Waryadi, and then Fauzan took issue and debated with them.

When they were having fun, they didn't realize they had arrived at Than Thie forest.

They parked in the forest and while unloading the goods, they were approached by 2 heavily armed members.

"Excuse me, do you have permission to enter this forest?" one of the officers said to Raka.

"Permission? Isn't this forest area not under surveillance anymore?" said Raka.

"Yes, it was, but now this area is under surveillance again," said the officer.

"Hm... hey, Leo! Leo! Come out, I think we need to talk to them about something," said Raka calling Leonardo who was on the bus.

"What's wrong?" said Leonardo.

"The officer said, we need permission to enter this area," said Raka.

Leonardo looked confused, as he hadn't heard that this area had been put on the watch list.

"Hello, sir, is it true that this area is under surveillance?" said Leonardo.

"Yes, it is," said the officer.

"But I didn't hear that news, since the night even the status has not changed," said Leonardo.

"The status of the forest area and its surroundings only changed this morning," said the officer.

"Hm... I haven't checked again this morning," Leonardo said.

While officer 1 was talking to Leonardo, officer 2 was looking at the unloaded items and one of them he saw a weapon-like equipment.

"Hey, is that a weapon?" said Officer 2.

"Yes, it is," said Radit.

"Do you have a license for these tools and weapons? You are still students, aren't you?" said officer 2.

"Yes, sir, we've gotten permission from our club trustees and here's the permission letter from the union," Radit said showing the letter and the officer examined it carefully using a scanner.

"Ok, fine, this letter is genuine," said officer 2.

"Of course it's real, who would dare fake it?" Amelia said suddenly.

"In fact, there are those who dare to falsify, Dek," said officer 2.

"Uh, seriously?" said Amelia. "How come, sir?" said Radit.

"Yes... I don't know how the person forged it, maybe there is an ability to copy important letters now," said officer 2.

"Uh, is something like that possible?" said Amelia.

"Well, what do I know, the world is getting stranger every day, the possibility of unnatural things like that may exist," said officer 2.

Leonardo and officer 1 had already finished discussing the permit to enter the forest area and they got the permit.

"Jo... is it safe there?" said Officer 1.

"Yes, everything is safe," said officer 2 and then approached officer 1.

"Okay, please enter and stay alert, avoid walking alone even though it's still light out, understand? Remind your other friends," said Officer 1.

"Yes, sir," said Leonardo, Raka, Radit, and Amelia.

"Oh yes, I'm Adam Bekers," said officer 1.

"And I'm Joe Hans," said officer 2.

"You guys went to the highest private hut there, right? It just so happens that we'll be standing guard near there. This is the emergency contact number to contact our team unit, if this number is not active call this HQ contact, spread this number to other friends," Adam said giving Leonardo the paper containing their team number.

"Good," Leonardo said.

"Ok, enjoy your vacation," Adam said, and the two of them walked away from the Club of Helpers.

All the luggage was unloaded, and they carried it to the cottage, assisted by the bus driver and 2 of Leonardo's servants.
