*Leo POV*

"Motherfucker" I curse like a ni- wait I ain't black....but I'm technically their ancestor so it's legal?

Anyways, I curse in a Nick Fury way as I feel space being ripped right behind me

'Welp it worked.....but what the fuck is this fucker doing here?' I think while ATP kicks in making everything slow down to the ratio of 1:10(1 sec = 10sec for him)

Right now I'm staring at a sorcerer conjuring a spell in slow motion.

'Who the fuck is this ?' I have no clue where this dude came from but he dies today. I just send a mental command making a earth spike pop up from the ground impaling him and breaking the spell

I'm still in ATP cause the rip is still there and I'm still in hold of this tentacle thing ...now I can get out but it will just make whatever on the side just come here so options are limited

"Getting dragged it is .....but first let's leave a message to Fen....there is a worm in hiding " I narrow my eyes to the Eternals locations but quickly turn away before it realizes. I just write a warning and got dragged in the spatial rip

"Are you kidding me ?" Leo said outloud getting attention of one red hair and other raven haired girls who were siting next to him

"My body just got kidnapped " he said with a blank face

(AN:- They are connected with each and are currently in mindspace or more accurately soulspace so the distance doesn't matter unless someone cuts the connection)

"Aren't you worried?"

"Nah, that was a clone anyways " he shrugged

"Yeah, I got a little sus with how well the life was so I made some backup plans for 'just in case' scenarios " he answered nonchalantly while getting dumbfounded looks from the girls

"What the hell is wrong with you ?" Red asked in utter disbelief

"What? You can't blame me, I know way too many things that could go wrong the moment I vanish and besides I can't leave you two alone now can I?" He smiled softly at them making their hearts flutter for a moment....

"One is a Yandere and other is a Yandere on steroids with issues, so unless I have a death wish, I can't leave you two alone" aaaaaannnnnd he just ruined the mood and got pillows thrown in his face

"You are unbelievable you know" Maya said with a angry-stunned face

"I know, so you better hang out to me or someone might steal me..." he paused midsentence and facepalmed himself "...I probably raised a flag.....motherfuc-"

"Language !" Got stopped by Red ".....This was a bit random don't you think ?"

"Can't help it.....they used it as a inside joke for a really long time, so it kind of ....became.... a habit...." Wanda smiled a little reminiscing about her old days and almost teared up

".....I really want to know what the heck happened but perhaps it's a story for another time" Leo said gently pulling her in a hug calming her down

He flinched a little looking at Maya who was feigning anger "The clone?" She reminded

"Ah yes, that" he sat back down on the couch with Wanda still in hug refusing to leave him making him sigh and caress her hair

"Well you see the Deviants, those blue creatures that Thena and others fight from time to time were getting stronger, not by much but enough to injure them " he patiently explained

Maya:-"So? They were weak and got injured"

"That's the problem..." he made a annoyed expression

"They are stronger than they should've been, there aren't enough humans on this planet to make them strong....not yet "

"Deviants get stronger by eating humans or just any animals and using their genetic structure to evolve into a more stronger version of themselves, but the problem is that it is way too early for that " he got triggered just by thinking about it

"Why? Didn't you just say they can evolve by eating others, so couldn't they just eat more?"

"It's not that easy Red, they literally have to copy the entire genetic makeup of the said animal and take their most advantageous traits and mix it up with their genes to evolve, do you have any idea how difficult that is? Selecting one specific genome from a possible billion maybe trillion different combinations?" He almost tore his hair apart by scratching it forcefully making the girls slowly get away from him

"The deviants aren't that experienced yet cause they lack sentience and the intelligence to make it possible. They purely work on instincts" he went back to normal and sat down

".....so someone is helping them ?"

"Yes and unless there is someone who is secretly teaching a class of them, I only know few other annoying beings that are capable of that" his eye twitched in annoyance thinking of those said beings

"And the clone ?"

"It was a bait that hopefully worked cause I don't remember messing with that hentai monster" he shrugged thinking of a certain tentacle who was on the verge of getting burned at the moment

The girls inquired more about the bait before continuing to watch the movie ?

"....what's a hentai?" Maya asked curiously making Leo grimace at his poor choice of words

Fen found the Eternals chatting while everyone around them was asleep. He quietly walked towards Makkari who was nearest to him and waved his tail creating a soft gust of wind attracting her attention

Fen made a shush gesture asked her to follow him while pointing at others

Makkari although confused threw a stone at Druig who caught it and looked at her

[The wolf is calling us.....gather others without waking any humans ]

Druig nodded after seeing her serious face and called the others

"What's going on ?" Sprite asked feigning sleep

"The cub vanished"

That instantly got the groups attention as their faces turned serious

"How?" Ajak inquired and Fen just gave the note to her making the rest read it with her

"So he says there's a imposter.....but where ?" Sersi asked Fen checking the note

"No idea"

"And we should be aware why?"

Fen stared at the group for a while before sighing

"The cub.....did some things in the past and made enemies which he thought died, but after watching you fight yesterday, we saw some hints they might be alive" His face was solemn at the end and looked around before continuing "They can possess human and control elements so be careful"

"Wait....elements?" Phastos asked frightened cause he knew the capabilities of that kind of power

"Yes, from wind to poison, from fire to the very planet we are on"

"..." The group was more stunned cause this means the wolf and the man who acted like a kid fought something that could kill any of them

"But.... why ask us for help of they are this powerful?"

"The cub told me they are bound by the rules of our world, so they can't use their full powers only something around 10% at max and their weakness is the bodies they are possessing, so keep a eye on them and immediately tell me if you ever find one and whatever happens do not fight them"

".....Any reason we shouldn't?"

"Ajak explain" Fen left it at that and went away making the group look at her

Ajak looked at the wolf annoyed before asking "Tell me this Sersi why are we here ?"

"To help the species develop and hunt deviants"

"Now tell me, what part of our mission says anything about fighting other threats?"

"..." she opened and closed her mouth few times but was unable to come up with a answer

"Exactly, our mission is just to help the species develop and guide them while eliminating deviants and that's it, we do not interfere in their problems" She finished the note and went back to the camp leaving the group behind

".....Now I wonder, what the hell did he do before meeting us ?" Kingo asked to the group and only got 'Who knows' from everyone as they went back to the camp

-Year 2014-

We can see New York.....or what's left of it anyways... in smoke

Building are razed to the ground, there are deep pits and several craters everywhere with bodies of humans and aliens lying around. As we move in closer and closer we can see various people in costumes lying dead with some if not all parts missing. With some heroes alive and trying to help only to get blown away by the winds

*Cling!*

A sharp sound echoed as a sword hit the shield making the user of the shield bend his knee only to get his arm broken

"That won't help you~" he mocked before kicking his shield away and slashing him and kept stabbing him. He paused "Oh, lookie here who decided to come out of their hiding place" He stopped stabbing the dead Captain America and looked somewhere ignoring the energy blast heading his way

"Hmm.....I can go there but he is in a weird place....." he thought while redirecting the blasts towards Ironman who got blasted towards some buildings

"Should I ?" he looked at Thor who had a arm missing and went to decapitate him

"STOP!!!" someone shouted while trying to kick him which he blocked with the flat side of his sword creating a gust of wind

"So it's you? Aren't you a little too weak" he mocked the new kid who showed up from somewhere

"Why did you kill them!!?" The new kid roared angrily while dodging the sword "Ho~ All mixed up I see. Shouldn't really make a difference but I'll just humor you" he smiled eerily before continuing the fight

"Tell me you Bastard!!" The kid screamed making the man pause

He shrugged his shoulders after thinking for few seconds, "Cause I wanted to?" and answered as if it was normal

"..." The kid went quite and suddenly increased his attack speed and fought more brutally

*whistles*

"That's some impressive stuff you got there kid" he complimented him before cutting his arm "But that's it" he picked him up by his hair making him scream

"See that..." he pointed at Black widow who was impaled to a concrete wall by steel bars "She had more fight in her than you do and she didn't even have any powers " he mocked the kid "Grow up kid, this ain't some fairy tale where everything will just work out fine...." and then stabbed him in the heart and dropped him on the ground "Probably shouldn't have killed him right after telling him to grow up.....I'm really bad at giving advice huh?" he pondered for a while before taking a small note book and crossing off a name from the long list

"Now....." he picked his sword and slashed the empty air creating a rift "Let's see what the others have to offer " and went in leaving the dead world behind
