Part 8

On the vast sky, I can see many things, that include the Dryad below. Waving her hands she signals me to come down, I glide down to the open area near her then transform back to my human form.

"Did I make you wait?"

"No, I just recently come out"

That's good to hear, late is not an option for me who lives in a super strict Japanese society.

"That's a nice dress you wear, it fits you perfectly"

"Ara~ thank you, Mr Wolf, you look handsome too in that clothes, especially that beautiful muscles, I like it"

What the Dryad wear is a dress that has many flowers on it, it has three colours which perfectly matches together, a red blue and black. She has a flowers ribbon on her head that made her long hair more beautiful.

This dress is making her beautiful than ever, I glad that I give her the ingredients to make a dress. The first time I meet her, she barely wears anything, with only covering her sensitive spot.

It's very surprising to me that she can make that kind of dress, forget about the dress I barely can make a simple cloth. To be honest, she is very talented, as expected from a female, they have the best sense of clothing among the gender.

"Shall we go?"

"Yes, I will let the way for you, Mr Wolf"

She walks in front of me, leading the way to the Twin Witch house, I closely walk behind her. My goodness, this angle is amazing, I can see something that I rarely seen, the fantasy world is the best!

In the middle of the walk I ask her, why can she so easily walk off her main body aka the Oak Tree. She answers within her voice pride.

She says she has a skill that allows her to leave her main body in a certain period. She takes pride in that skill, even so, she says it has one big disadvantage in it. She can't use her power to the full extent, so she always avoids a fight if she can.

That's good news for me, that makes the possibility to fight her to be very low. That what I like to think, but there is a possibility that she lying to me, whatever the case I must not lower my guard down.

Not long after we walk we arrive at the entrance to the lake, this lake is where my old home is located. I look at her, she walks to one of the trees, knocks on its bark and waits.

After that bunch of squirrel show up, they start to make the same noise when I annoy them. This is not a good sign, now, I certainly can kill all of them, but it seems not necessarily as The Dryad speaks to them.

"My cute squirrel, please allow me to walk in"

Ohh, all the squirrel got silent when they hear the Dryad speak, is she can speak with them, if so, can she speak with other monster or other plants, considering she is a plant herself.

That's a very convenient ability to have, you can speak with all kinds of creatures which means you can potentially rule them, which make will give you an army of at least an ally.

If I have that kind of ability I can imagine ruling all kinds of monster. King of monster doesn't seem to be a bad name, I would certainly love that kind of title.

You are very lucky Dryad if you are my enemies, I doubt I will hesitate to eat you after hearing all kinds of your ability. You're a very lucky person, Dryad.

Back to the squirrel, they quickly disperse not long after. Seeing that, the Dryad cast a smile on me, I know you're very influential in this forset, so stop that smug face. Of course, I didn't say that out loud, there is something you can and can't speak frankly.

"Let's walks again and please continue guiding me"

"As usual, Mr Wolf is always manage to hurt my fragile heart"

As usual, she always exaggerated her words, That's obviously bullshit, there is no person who can smile so beautifully when their heart is hurt. Of course, I will ignore that, if I respond it will make her flirtatious much worse.

She looks at my face, smile at me and walks again. This woman just wants to see what kind of reaction did make. Fortunately, I already know how to deal with her.

I closed follow behind her, we continue our walk again. In the process, we see many smile monster, it's the monster I use to see, however, it was not the case for her.

When she sees a monster, she always makes a little smile on her face, it was a genuine smile, a smile without the usual flirtatious atmosphere. Somehow it warms my heart if I didn't have experience with a woman I might already fall for that smile.

From what I remember, she says it was her that created this little paradise. No wonder she is happy seeing this very scene, surprisingly or not surprisingly at this moment she seems like an innocent girl.

This scenery made her slow her walk, I who don't want to disturb her happiness also slow my walk. We stay in this way until we got to the destination, the Twin Witch house.

She stops at a lake, a lake where I use to bathe and drink, this lake used to be my main livelihood. I hunt around it, have a house around it, to put it simply, this lake is one of the reasons I can survive in my early day.

But in or on this lake there is something mysterious. In the early day, I arrive in this world I can feel a curious gaze coming from this lake, it was both a strange and scary experience for me.

"Is this where the Twin Witch live?"

"Yes it is, are you surprised, Mr Wolf"

That makes a lot of sense about the curious gaze now. Someone that watch me and the Dryad friend, they both have one thing in common, that's both of them coming from the same place, the lakes.

"No"

"Is that so"

The Dryad look at me to see my expression, she smiles. Well, I hope she doesn't get the wrong idea. It's not like I don't want to say I'm surprised, I don't because I'm not surprised, that a fact.

"Then where is the house, I did not see anything"

"The house is on the middle of the lake, you can't see it because there is a barrier around it"

Ohh a house in the middle of the lake furthermore has a barrier around it, making it invisible to the naked eyes, super cool. I would love to learn more about this barrier, I can already see its potential in a lot of aspect in the future.

"Ishtar, we already here, cam you kindly dispel the barrier"

Not long after the Dryad calls one of her friends, the barrier slowly being displed. Like a mist that disappears, it slowly reveals itself.

What I see is a house, a two-story building made from wood, the house have a cone shape on its roof with some windows around it. It is quite a big house, maybe it can fit up to five people judging by its size.

But I notice something strange, there is no bridge connecting the house with the land, no bridge at all. How did they cross this thing, can they fly. Curious I ask the Dryad about it.

"How can we go to the house, there are no bridge"

What I get as an answer is a chuckle, I don't remember saying something funny, but it seems not the case for the Dryad.

"Mr wolf, you can fly, do you?'

"If so then what?"

What is she planning at?

"It is simple, carry me and fly"

"No!"

Is she nuts, I can indeed fly, but that requires me to transform into a bird or at least have wings. It's not easy as it's sound.

"Ara~ are you sure you want to reject that"

I look at her face to see what is she planning at.

"What if I say that is my demand"

Shit! Is she serious? From her face, it seems to be so. My goodness is this for real, no, she just want to toy with me, I will not let her have her way.

"Don't you want to carry a beautiful woman"

That's an alluring offer, but I must say no. I don't know what will she do when I carry her, I'm very vulnerable when in a flying state, she can easily kill me if she wants to, so my answer is no.

"No!"

"You are surely a cold person, Mr Wolf"

Then so be it, if being cold can save my life then so be it. It seems she understands it and tell me it's just a joke, I know it, yet I still being toyed, huh...

The Dryad turn toward the house, I also turn toward the house. At that moment I see a beautiful young girl, not just one but two beautiful young girls.
