Mission failed successfully

Her answer wasn't good enough. Ivo had known for some time that there was more to her than met the eye.

He was guilty of the same thing she accused Davi of. Ivo had also underestimated her when they first met. But he had stopped doing it halfway through the game of truth or dare.

Juju was being disingenuous, though, -- she wanted to be underestimated. Her entire behaviour made it obvious. She wanted to be seen as a mean, pretty girl. All bark and no bite.

"What did he do to you?" Ivo asked, pressing on the subjected. "It must have been something. I don't think you'd kill him otherwise."

She gave him a level look, one corner of her lips curling up. "Maybe I just wanted him dead. No particular reason. I advise you to drop this line of questioning."

"I don't believe that."

Juju chuckled and dropped off the workstation, walking towards Ivo until their chests almost touched. She looked up at him with a considering look. "I said drop it."
