"Someone's knocking" The person knocking on the door caught Nicki's attention and she planned to drop the food she was eating to go respond to it when Hanna decided to be the one that goes instead.

"I will get it" She went and opened the door. "It's Ariana, your latest and closest person around here lately" Hanna allowed Ariana into the room while wondering if the early morning training was already over.

"Ari" Nicki was excited to see Ariana as she was too.

"Aren't you supposed to be in training? It's a one-hour session. It's not yet eight" Hanna wasn't the only one wondering if the training was over yet, Astrid was too and so she had to check the time staring at the clock in the room to know if Ariana was committing another offense again just to see Nicki.

"You are right but training is over and it's somehow really not over, it just kind of got interrupted" Ariana announced, surprising everyone with the reason she left training and came here.

"What happened?" Hanna did the favor of asking what happened on Astrid and Nicki's behalf, who were also curious to know what happened and were about to ask too.

"A fight happened…." Ariana said, she couldn't complete her sentence as Astrid did it for her and was actually right with the guess she made.

"Let me guess Nadia again?"

"Yes, it was Nadia but I don't think it was her that started the fight first. No one knows what caused it or who started it but all the blame is going on Emma. She was the one who fought with her. And I don't even care about that, I'm as hungry as hell!" Ariana swiftly went and joined Nicki the moment she noticed the food.

She failed to join the others in the large dining hall where everyone goes to eat every single day, before going to training due to the fact she slept way past the time she should have. 

"I'm not surprised, it's always Nadia all the time and I'm pretty sure she was the one who started the fight first. She has won multiple awards for being the worst student from year to year," Hanna rolled her eyes. She wasn't surprised that one of the people involved in the fight was Nadia Tate.

Anytime a fight happens in this academy, Nadia Tate always would be involved. Though fights around here happen only once in a blue moon due to the strict rules that only get stricter and tighter every day.

"We are kind of lucky we never got to guide that girl as our student, she gives a lot of headaches at merely looking at her face" Astrid added to the conversation about Nadia, however, Nicki who had no idea who the Nadia girl was had to pause with her food, asking.

"Excuse me, but can anyone please tell me who this Nadia girl is? I'm still new here remember" She pleaded and continued with the food as Hanna attended to her question.

"Her name is Nadia Tate, everyone knows her since she's very popular around here and even the other academy too. She's a good fighter and has a lot of special skills and could have been crowned a guide a million times but she's a very problematic girl. That's why she keeps staying at a trainer's level" 

"Wait, so this place is an academy and not a prison?" Out of everything Hanna said, this was the one that caught Nicki's interest the most. 

"Told you so" Hanna shrugged, she can remember arguing with Nicki when they were still in the hall about this place not being a prison and she seemed not to believe it.

"Wait, so if this place is just an academy then where is this pack? I thought werewolves live in packs. I thought we have been in the pack all this while" Nicki kept the food aside to get clear of certain things about this place while Ariana devoured it alone.

"We have a pack, Nicki, but it's different from this place. This is just an academy where the Alpha trains young pups like us. This is the battler's academy" Hanna said to her student and prepared to tell her a lot more of what she should have known in the first place since she arrived.

"Battlers Academy? Okay, the name is cool but it made this place sound like it's more of an academy for battles which makes me wonder why there's so much training in this place all the time. What are you guys training for? Are you going to war? Are you nazis? Because that's what I keep thinking of since I got here" 

Nicki ended her sentence only to get laughed at by her guides including her best friend Ariana too. 

"What? What's so funny about what I just said?" She got slightly offended by getting laughed at and recalled the night she told the Alpha about her pathetic life story and he also laughed at her for it too.

Seems like no one here knows when it is right to laugh at something or take it seriously.

"Nazis? Nicki? We aren't Nazis, we are just normal werewolves living normal lives," Astrid held her belly while struggling to stop laughing.

"Well, I don't think the lives you guys are living here are normal, it's strict. I thought werewolves have fun, you know, going out for runs with super-fast ability, going on adventures, and carrying all the heavy stuff to test their super strength. Climbing trees…"

"Okay stop there, I was enjoying all you were saying before the climbing of trees. We don't climb trees, werewolves aren't monkeys, Nicki. What are you even thinking?" Hanna laughed at the end of her statement and Astrid followed. Nicki was being ridiculous for a minute.

"Sorry, I got that last one wrong. I was just trying to say you guys don't get to leave this place. You are always stuck inside here, I think it was more fun when I was depressed and wanted to commit suicide than this. I would have been in heaven right now" Nicki shut her eyes at the thought of her actually in heaven for real.

"Wait, you were depressed and wanted to commit suicide?" Both guides were shocked at the confession Nicki made.

"Yeah, how do you guys think the Alpha met her? She had cancer when she was still human and wanted to end her life. Luckily, the Alpha happened to be there the night she was about to do it" Ariana became the one telling Nicki's story to her guides since she seemed to be lost in her thoughts of being in heaven.

"So, that's how he turned her and brought her here" Astrid nodded, getting the hang of the story.

"But that's not even the mind-blowing part yet, she said she saw the Alpha kill someone the night she planned to end it" Ariana went on with the story, and the way she took her time in explaining it could make one think she was the one who owned it. 

"The Alpha killed someone? Was it human? We don't kill humans," Hanna wondered who the Alpha happened to kill the night he turned Nicki, because they don't kill humans to prevent making their existence known to them. 

"I know, right? That's why I'm thinking it was a Nemesis" Ariana guessed, but she wasn't pretty sure she was right. 

"No way" Astird's jaws dropped

"It can't be" Hanna's eyes widened

"What's a Nemesis?" Nicki was brought back to reality.
