Human-Forerunner War

In my isolation, I received information of something interesting happening.

Humanity as been invading worlds. They don't even settle for a long time. They invade, strip resources, and go do it again. Then they raze the planet behind them, leaving no life behind. Many civilizations have alerted the Forerunners about there actions. As they fear for themselves.

What is even more hilarious, the Forerunners didn't even bother to determine motive. They just started a war without any communication. Spurred and led by the Didact.

The humans scared the Forerunners as they were putting up a good fight. The Forerunners weren't winning as easily as they thought they should be. They were taking a lot of losses.

Which led to some people remembering me. This explains why the Didact was on my Blood Moon acting like I owed him money and killed his dog.

"Necromancer! I know you can hear me! Face me this instant!", He commanded.

I transported my body through the necrotic flesh of the moon and popped up in front of the Didact.

"Oh Didact, did you forget where my throne is after so many years. Why do you call for me in the middle of nowhere.", I ask playfully.

He huffs, "I have no patience for your jests Necromancer. It is time to pay your dues. You are to go to the front lines and stop the humans in their tracks."

I laugh, "What makes you think I would listen to such commands? The old deal is long dead. I have no dues to pay neither. I've been keeping to myself in this secluded star system all this time."

He growls, "You will obey or face the consequences! You exist only because we allow you to exist!"

I grin, "You can't back up those words. I have grown much more powerful. All your forces are committed to the war. You can't spare the required amount of resources to deal with me at my current strength."

I flex my psionic might and let him feel my power ripple over him.

He looks at me with a snarl, "You're audacity will ne dealt with severely once the humans are defeated."

The Didact then teleports away.

"Haha, you may defeat the humans, but your war won't end. The end is near for your people.", I muse lowly with a twisted smile.
