The day turned out better than Bardeelus had expected. He almost got killed several times before getting in the tower, which was pretty demotivating, and then he stressed out beyond bounds once they did enter the tower!
It wasn't a peachy experience, and such stress could kill an elephant, so he was lucky to pull through such trouble in one piece. Now, in a way, the splash he felt from the ocean wasn't just refreshing, it marked the continuation of their journey, the next step even!
He felt at least slightly more motivated to go on, especially since this palace couldn't pose greater threats than they already experienced. What awaited ahead, could be challenges that were purely intellectual.
Bardeelus reached the shore, hugged his friends, and said. "I got the shit, pop that map open! We're going to a palace."
"And what… get beheaded? Give us more context, we can't barge in a palace like we did in the ruins." Audera was the first to react.
