Island; A dead end

This was a new kind of experience for Audera. She has read through many animalistic brains before, but only a few of them had coherent thoughts.

She was aware that only fully graduated illusionists, could decipher an animal's thoughts so easily. They were advanced, however, she wasn't.

Her powers couldn't have been upgraded overnight, so this meant that the humpback knew a few humanoid words itself. It thought of human words at least, but its vocal range didn't support human speech all that much. The whale could only sing one coherent word at a time.

"Hmm… it's brain is definitely big enough for cool stuff like this, it has potential to be a very intelligent fish." She thought, as she tried to figure this case out as thoroughly as possible. "Maybe it killed one too many humans, and picked up their words? It's possible."

Right then, Bardeelus interrupted her train of thoughts, he said. "What's the matter? You're torturing us with this silence of yours."
