Bardeelus felt conflicted about this answer, so he asked. "Are you sure this is easy? I'm still processing those scorpion souls. I expected them to knock me out, but apparently their souls are pretty weak for summoners. This is really ironic."
"It's not ironic, because they don't necessarily summon or enslave actual souls, in order to strengthen their own. They're just… how do I say… level three summoners." She explained.
"So there are levels to this?" He asked.
"For normal summoners, yes. They can unlock greater things to summon, and eventually can enslave a few souls for themselves. But us necromancers, we are born with this skill, so we don't really have levels, and we can't summon anything else but souls." She added.
