Chapter 146: Cosmic Beach Counter Attack!

Wendy rushed to Aurelia's side, and her heart pounded with fear. "Aurelia! Are you okay?!" she cried out, sounding worried.

Aurelia gazed up at Wendy from the floor; her face showed stitches of pain, but there was this extremely faint smile on her face. "I'm. I'm okay," she said, the words strained. "I.... I did it, right?"

Wendy realized what Aurelia had done: she had taken a hit meant to harm her in order to protect her. Wendy went over and cradled Aurelia in her arms. "You didn't have to do that, Aurelia. I would have been fine."

Aurelia reached out and gently stroked Wendy's hair with her hand. "My body just kinda moved on it's own... Guess i'm out of the game, but I...I'll be alright," she whispered.

"I'll make sure we win this match for you," Wendy whispered.

Misty and Maiza just stood, looking at each other with grim, yet determined faces. They couldn't waste what Aurelia had worked so hard to do.
