Chapter 134: A Deity Buster's Past

Niren lay within a crater, broken and battered by Wendy's attack. His breath was ragged, but a defiant spark flickered within his eyes. Niren struggled to rise from the debris that surrounded him. Every movement sent waves of pain through his ravaged body. but he gritted his teeth and manage to get back to his feet.

With trembling hands, Niren reached out toward the heavens, Niren's mind wandered to a fateful encounter with a young Howl.. At the tender age of five, Howl was just a mere Neospacian, eager to prove himself. Niren, already a skilled teen at that time, couldn't resist the opportunity to test the young upstart.

"I'll wipe the floor with you," Howl exclaimed while pointing a finger.

"You think you can defeat me, little one?" Niren taunted, "The only thing you'll wipe is your butt once I'm done with you!"
