Chapter 117: Brutality

Wendy's Deity form faded, her energy returned to its familiar pink neos glow. She panted heavily, sweat trickling down her forehead. Niren, seemingly unscathed, sneered at her once more.

"You see, no matter what form you take, you're still no match for me," Niren taunted

Wendy was not taking that sitting down. Once Niren lunged towards her again, she sidestepped at the last moment, dodging his attack. Then, she channeled her neos energy into her fists and delivered a powerful punch to his side.

To her surprise, this time her attack landed. A small smile tugged at the corner of her lips. She might not be able to defeat Niren with raw power, but she knew one thing: She could outsmart him. All she needed to rely on washer speed, agility, and her ability to anticipate his moves which she managed to pick up on while fighting him.
