TASHANA

" Tasha!" Vyn called excitedly on sighting his bestie. He had missed her like crazy. He walked up to her and engulfed her in a tight embrace, laughing happily as he did.

" Guess someone missed me".Tasha cooed with a proud smile on as they disengaged.

"Of course. Though am supposed to be mad at you. We were supposed to go to Paris together but you bailed out and went to Singapore instead. Not fair". he faked anger.

" Huh...am sorry, dad wanted us to have a family vacation and I had to go.

Sorry".

" Am still mad at you". he said again avoiding her gaze.

" Am sowie". she said childishly with a pout as she clung to his arm looking so cute he couldn't refute.

" Aish.... you are lucky you are so adorable. Fine, fine , apology accepted". he gave in causing Tasha to giggle delight.

" Me wondering why we aren't having class. Never thought you were the cause". a dark haired, hazel eyed girl said as she walked up to the besties.

" Iris!". Tasha called cheerfully and hugged her.

" Thought you dropped out. It's the second week of resumption". she pointed out as they disengaged.

" Yeah, yeah mom. I figured that out". Tasha rolled her eyes making Iris chuckle.

" Good to see you again". Iris said with a smile and gently slapped her shoulder before she walked away from them.

As expected, Iris was also one of the friends, though she wasn't one of the D'5. She was someone who fit the definition of a crazy baddie. She hardly had any friends except Tasha and Vyn and she also a time bomb which could blow off anytime, that's why no one liked to offend her.

"And hey!, am not the reason why classes aren't starting. There was an impromptu meeting". Tasha shouted after her.

" Why?".Vyn asked this time.

" Don't know ". she shrugged.".Gist me on everything I missed".she said again as she pulled him towards his seat staring at him as he spoke.

" Um, not really much but...". he paused coz Tasha suddenly stopped. He followed he gaze and found out that it landed on his new partner, she was staring at her.

" Oh, that's...". he was cut off as Tasha removed her hand from his and walked up to his new partner.

" And you are....."

" That's um... . I didn't get her name. She is my new seat mate, Mrs Whites's order".Devyn filled in, hoping Tasha didn't go berserk.

" Mrs Whites?, everyone knows no one is allowed to sit here. She could have been given another seat". She countered not wanting to accept the fact.

"Tashana..." Devyn drawled slowly, he didn't want her making a fuss out of nothing. " There's no other empty seat in class aside this". he explained.

The whole class was starting to stare at  them. They all knew of Tasha's possessive side of Devyn. Tasha was nice when need be but everyone knew that no one was allowed to sit beside Devyn or get too close to him, even guys mustn't get too close.

" Fine. Hey newbie, we are gonna exchange seat. I'm only letting you off the hook because you are new. So now , pack your stuffs and move to my seat ". she ordered.

Natasha who had been quiet all this while paused. So much for not wanting any attention. She started packing her stuffs not wanting any problem.

With a haughty grin, she pointed out her seat to Natasha who had packed up her bag already and was standing up.

Natasha's gaze followed where she was pointing to and discovered that her seat was the first seat, in fact , directly at the middle of the class. Hell no! Natasha wasn't doing that.

Thinking she was already leaving, Tasha made to sit on the seat but Natasha was faster as she placed her backpack on the seat.

"What?" she demanded rudely.

Natasha shook her head in response.

" Are you dumb?",

Natasha didn't reply, instead she sat on the seat ignoring Tasha and the little crowd starting to form.

" Why you little.....".

A familiar but rarely heard siren     stopped Tasha. Everyone knew what that sound meant. Though rarely heard, they knew it meant an impromptu and urgent assembly was being called.

" First the teachers now us?. What the fack is going on?" some students grumbled at this. They wanted to know what was going to happen between the new kid and Tasha.

" Am not done with you". Tasha spat at her before she pulled Devyn away with her as her other friends followed suit.

Everyone rushed out of the class after the besties left the class leaving only Natasha in the class.

She stood up to go after them when she noticed someone was still in the class.

" Hi" the pretty obsidian eyed girl said walking towards Natasha. She packed her dark lustrous hair into a bun and she was wearing black pants with expensive looking sneakers and bottle-green baggy cropped hoodie.

She just nodded at her and proceeded to leave.

" The name's Janette. Janette Gold". she stretched out her hand but Natasha only nodded politely at her and walked past her.

Briefly surprised by her reaction, Jane froze for a while before recovering.

" Why did you go back to your seat. I actually thought you were leaving for Tasha's seat". she ran to catch up with her as they both walked out of the class Natasha not replying her words.

" Oh.... I see you are not much of a talker. I....". she paused as Natasha suddenly stopped.

"Did I annoy you?, I...."

" I'm just someone who doesn't talk much". She explained to avoid any misunderstanding.

" Ah....." She paused for a bit before she continued, "So , wanna be friends?"

" No".

"Why?"

" Because you wouldn't want to be friends with me."

" What do you mean?" she asked, puzzled as she watched her walk away.

" Weird girl". Janette chuckled before she yelled , "Wait for me".and ran after her.

"God!!, if there's one thing I hate most in this school, it's Assembly. They are so long, boring and tiring.My whole bone aches and I think I might collapse". Donna, another of Tasha's friends exaggerated as she walked back to class with Iris.

" Drama queen. The assembly wasn't even up to an hour".Terence commented as he walked past her.

" Oh shut it Terry. You wouldn't know what I was going through ".

"What were you going through?. Someone's missing Donna. Be humane". Jace was the one who spoke this time, he had been walking with Terry.

" Fine!, gang up against me and..."

" Wait guys, what do you think happened to Gina?" Sven who just joined them asked, cutting Donna short.

" She's always on her own and I bet had no friends. That's why no one noticed she was missing ". Iris answered.

" She had a friend. Anna. The both of them were the weirdest kid in the whole school. Ugh..." she shuddered. " They were also creepy ".

" Be humane ". Iris slapped her head.

" Ouch!" she cried out.

The others chuckled at her silliness as they all entered the class together.

They halted when they saw Natasha sitting on her seat.

" This new girl is quite daring. She went back to the seat". Iris pointed out with a chuckle.

"It is her seat though". Terence stated.

" No, it's Tasha's. Tasha owns that seat".

" It was the only empty seat in class Donna. No one owns it". Terence argued.

" Everyone knows that no one's allowed to seat next to Vyn ".

" Except the newbie ".he pointed out.

" Ugh, you're annoying ". Tasha scoffed and made for the new girl but was beaten to it by Iris.

" Hey, a piece of advice for you. If you don't want your school life to be miserable, listen to Tasha and leave this seat. It would do you a lot of good". She 'advised' and without waiting for reply, turned to leave.

" She didn't even listen to you.  Fine let's see how haughty you would still be when Tasha's back". Donna sneered at the unyielding girl.

Everyone had entered the class except Tasha and Vyn. The whole class wondered what would happen when they came back.

Soon they entered and the first thing that caught Tasha's sight was the annoying view of Natasha still on the seat.
