Naruto sat on his bed in a empty apartment, it was not as dirty as always, but a few ramen cups still littered around, he was turning 18 today. Considering his previous birthday was the climax of the great shinobi war, he was equally apprehensive and excited. So when Kakashi called him via a anbu and told him that the moon was falling from the skies, he wasn't that surprised.
He went with Sasuke to check on the trouble of the falling moon, and they ended up fighting two more Otsutsukis: Momoshiki Otsutsuki and Kinshiki Otsutsuki. It was one of the toughest fights of his life; the enemy was stronger than them, with attacks capable of causing devastating damage.
Kinshiki was devoured by Momoshiki during the fight, almost putting Momoshiki in a class above them both. But they were shinobi, and they were trickier. The enemy was a one-trick phony.
The battle with Momoshiki raged on, and the intensity was unlike anything Naruto had ever experienced. Momoshiki's attacks were relentless, and his power seemed to know no bounds. The swirling red spheres of destructive energy threatened to consume everything in their path.
Naruto and Sasuke fought side by side, their teamwork as seamless as ever. They dodged, weaved, and countered with all their might, but the power gap between them and Momoshiki was undeniable. Each attack they launched seemed to be nullified effortlessly, and the enemy only grew stronger.
"Damn it, Naruto, we can't keep this up!" Sasuke called out, his Sharingan blazing.
Naruto's breathing was heavy as he assessed the situation. "We need to find a weakness, something that can stop him!"
But before they could formulate a new strategy, Momoshiki launched another devastating assault. A barrage of energy blasts came hurtling toward them, and Naruto and Sasuke worked in sync to avoid the deadly projectiles.
In a moment of desperation, Sasuke took a decisive action. "Naruto, I have an idea. Get ready to use your most powerful attack."
Naruto looked puzzled but trusted his friend's judgment. He channeled his chakra, preparing for what Sasuke had in mind.
As the barrage of energy blasts continued, Sasuke rushed forward, his body moving at incredible speed. He used his Rinnegan to open a portal, sucking the energy blasts into a pocket dimension. But the strain was evident on his face, and he couldn't keep up with the onslaught for long.
"Sasuke, are you okay?" Naruto shouted, concerned for his friend.
"Just... a little... more," Sasuke grunted, gritting his teeth in determination.
With a final burst of effort, Sasuke managed to divert all the energy blasts away from them. But as he turned to face Naruto, his expression softened.
"Naruto, I... I need you to finish this. Use everything you've got. It's the only way," Sasuke said, his voice hoarse.
"I am going to take out the Rinnegan in his hand," the Rinnegan in his hand was the biggest threat they had against them, capable of absorbing any attack they threw at him.
Naruto's eyes widened in realization, and he shook his head. "No way, Sasuke. We're in this together. I won't leave you behind."
Sasuke smiled weakly. "You're the only one who can do it, Naruto. Your strength... it's what the world needs. I have faith in you."
Now Sasuke led the attack, going all out using his Rinnegan teleportation, repeatedly striking from one place then another, giving no ground. Using his Perfect Susanoo in a compressed form around his body and unleashing devastating lightning strikes seemingly out of nowhere, Naruto supported him the best he could, but at this rate, Sasuke was going to run himself ragged.
"Sasuke!" Naruto cried out, his heart sinking as he watched his friend trade blows that were unfavorable, trying to corner the white-clad monster.
Naruto clones swarmed them, and multiple Rasengans were rushed and absorbed by the enemy until...
Sasuke swapped places with him just an instant before a clone was going to be gutted, taking a lethal blow while the sword of Kusanagi bit deep into the enemy's Rinnegan. His job was done; Naruto could handle the rest now that his friend could truly rain hell unchecked.
Sasuke's vision blurred, but he managed to give Naruto a reassuring smile. "Take... care of them... and find... a way back home."
Naruto's eyes welled up with tears, and he choked back sobs. "We're supposed to go back together, Sasuke. Don't you dare leave me here!"
"I'm... sorry, Naruto," Sasuke whispered, his hand reaching up to touch Naruto's cheek one last time.
And then, Sasuke's body went limp in Naruto's arms. He had sacrificed himself to save his friend and give Naruto a chance to defeat Momoshiki.
"Noooo!" Naruto's grief turned into fierce determination. He gently laid Sasuke down and stood up, his body trembling with a mix of sorrow and rage. The loss of his friend fueled the fire within him.
"You're going to pay for this, Momoshiki!" Naruto roared, his eyes now burning with an intense power.
As the red chakra of the Nine-Tails enveloped him, Naruto unleashed his most potent attack yet. The ground shook as he channeled an enormous amount of chakra into his right hand, forming a colossal Rasengan mixed with the power of the Sage of Six Paths.
With tears streaming down his face, Naruto charged toward Momoshiki, his heart heavy with grief, but his resolve unshakable. "I won't let your evil destroy this world!"
The two clashed once more, but this time, Naruto's strength was augmented by the memory of Sasuke's sacrifice. He poured every ounce of power into the attack, vowing to avenge his friend and protect his world.
The battle reached its climax, and the skies lit up with a blinding explosion of chakra and energy. Naruto's attack collided with Momoshiki's red ball of doom, creating a shockwave that reverberated across the landscape, creating a big crater on the moon easily visible from the Elemental Nations.
In the end, the swirling energy engulfed both Naruto and Momoshiki, leaving behind only smoke, silence, and a devastated moon.
When Naruto regained some sight, he thought he had won.
At least he was fine. He checked up with Kurama; they were fine and, according to Kurama, VERY far from home, in a different dimension and stuff.
They took stock of the situation; they were stranded on a moon, his body was running on chakra and nothing else, and he couldn't survive on the moon for long. Without Sasuke, there was no teleportation to bring them back. They were on a moon on another world.
They looked at the planet below them, mostly dark, but four giant bright patches of glimmering lights were visible. Kurama made a decision. The giant nine-tailed fox avatar manifested on the moon, reaching a size of 8 to 10 floors in height.
The beast created a giant tailed-beast bomb, put it in his mouth, and blasted Naruto at speeds faster than most jets, heading right towards those shimmering lights on a seemingly inhabited planet.
If people of Remnant were to use telescopes, they would see a tiny golden comet headed right for the city of Vale.
People of Elemental nations would always know that the biggest crater on the moon was known as the The Great Naruto Crater for the savior of world twice over.
