After checking up on Fugaku, Uzume beckoned Itachi to lie on the bed for a check-up. Uzume's left hand emitted a soft glow as she carefully scanned his body, finding nothing amiss. She then examined his eyes and remarked, "Strong Genjitsu and Amaterasu, this ability brings back memories," she said wistfully. "You have some impressive abilities, and you've only lost a bit of your eyesight."
"Itachi-kun, do you think you could try using Amaterasu on this piece of paper?" Uzume inquired, her curiosity piqued as she observed his black fire. Itachi rose from his seat, approached the sheet of paper on the table, and uttered the word "Amaterasu" softly. Suddenly, the paper ignited with black flames, leaving everyone else in awe at the remarkable burning power of the fire.
As the flames approached the table, Itachi braced himself to extinguish them. But before he could react, Uzume calmly grasped the burning paper in her hand, seemingly unfazed by the scorching heat. Itachi was taken aback, but before he could utter a word, Uzume explained, "This fire has the power to consume anything - living beings, organisms, even powerful elements." She then conjured a regular flame above the black fire in her hand, which was swiftly consumed by the dangerous blaze. The onlookers were in awe, witnessing Uzume effortlessly handle the most hazardous fire as if it were a child's plaything.
Uzume reflected on her past, "You know, I was the one who created Amaterasu long ago." As she spoke, the black fire in her hand transformed into a miniature black sun, and she placed a barrier around it to protect the room from the intense heat. The Uchiha were all too stunned to speak, their faces displaying utter bewilderment. Suddenly, Fugaku was relieved that he had not become an enemy of the village, realizing he would have been powerless against this godly being before him.
As Uzume continued to reminisce, she explained the origins of Amaterasu and how she had harnessed its power. The Uchiha listened in awe as she recounted the history of their clan and the true source of their most powerful jutsu. Uzume's presence felt both terrifying and awe-inspiring, and Fugaku couldn't help but feel a sense of reverence for the deity standing before him.
With a graceful gesture, Uzume guided Amaterasu to rest and instructed Shisui to recline on the bed for an examination. After scanning his body and finding everything in order, she focused on his eyes. "Your Genjitsu is unique, it can last pretty much forever, but you must keep it a secret. I will inform Hiruzen about your condition," she cautioned Shisui. "People tend to fear what they cannot comprehend, and you could become a target for the entire ninja world." Shisui nodded, acknowledging the seriousness of her warning.
"I will seal your eyes so that if word does get out about your gift and you become the target of greed, your eyes will be destroyed if they are taken from you."Uzume then proceeded to make a plan with Shisui on how to keep his abilities hidden from the rest of the ninja world. She emphasized the importance of discretion and urged him to be extremely careful about whom he shared his secret with. Shisui listened intently, understanding the gravity of the situation.
"Perhaps I could seal all three of your eyes. It's a risky power if it falls into the wrong hands, especially with the Uchiha involved in the Kyuubi's attack. If he were to find out about it, he would surely come for you," Uzume suggested after pondering for a bit. After discussing it among themselves, all three Uchiha agreed to her proposal.
"Now Shisui-kun, would you be a dear and use your Genjutsu on Lee-kun?" Uzami's request left him speechless. She had just cautioned him about the dangers of his ability, and now she was asking him to use it on a child with no chakra. Lee, catching her drift, turned to Shisui with no hint of fear in his eyes, adding to Shisui's bewilderment. Even if Lee didn't grasp the risks of the Jutsu, Uzami certainly did. She had even suggested him to place a seal on his eyes. So, why would she make such a request?
When Shisui seemed confused by her request, she reassured him, "You don't need to worry about the risk. This is to help him with his training, and I believe you are underestimating him just because you don't sense any chakra." Shisui and the others turned to look at Lee, who was smiling like an innocent child, completely fearless.
Uzume noticed that Shisui needed some encouragement, so she brought out three glass jars filled with liquid, each containing a set of normal Sharingans floating inside. She turned to Fukaku and asked, "Can you tell me, Fukaku-san, what is needed for Mangekyou and the next evolution of the Sharingan after the Mangekyou Sharingan?" After a moment of hesitation, Fukaku replied, "While the Sharingan simply requires an intense emotion of any kind, the Mangekyō Sharingan requires a person to be traumatized by the death of a loved one, and when the owner of the Mangekyō Sharingan inserts the Mangekyō Sharingan of a close relative. That is what is written on a stone tablet in the Uchiha shrine." This was a harsh truth that could only be read by the owner of the Mangekyou Sharingan. Fugaku felt a heavy weight on his shoulders - if this truth were to get out, it could lead to the destruction of the Uchiha clan.
Upon seeing Fugaku's dejected expression, Uzume snapped her fingers and declared, "There, I have removed all information from the stone tablet except for the requirement needed to activate the standard Sharingan." Fugaku gazed at her with curiosity, prompting Uzume to elaborate, "The stone tablet housed in your clan's shrine was originally crafted by a great sage by the name of Hagoromo Otsutsuki, but it was later tampered with. You need not worry now, as no one can tamper with it anymore."
