Epilogue 4: Dream

"Mhh. Where am I?" Tsunade questioned as she found herself in a room that looked oriental in style, filled with things that looked as if they were from her past life.

'Was all of that just a dream?' Tsunade had to ask as she didn't wish to think that all her experiences were fake.

"I assure you Lady Senju, your experiences were quite real." Said a voice behind her, making her snap her head as she entered a combat-ready stance.

"I told you that she wouldn't like being caught off guard like that." Another voice said behind her as Tsunade finally was able to get a good look at the people speaking.

The first was a man adorned in armor that seemed reminiscent of the Warring States Era while he had long orange hair that went to his shoulders.

The other woman was bald and wore a golden robe, with a great amount of jewelry adorned on her body, with the centerpiece being the amulet on her neck.

"Who are you people? Where is my son?" Tsunade asked before she remembered the more important factor: That Naruto was missing.

"Do not fret. He has already been sent to your timeline safely, and once I send you back, you will also arrive at the same time that he does. I can assure you of that much.

As for your second question, I am known as the Ancient One, the former Sorcerer Supreme of my World, and now the protector of the timeline.

This here is Adrian, a man who I have employed to aid me on my complex task." Yao said, while Tsunade's eyes widened at the realization of who the people were.

While her paranoia may have plagued her at the beginning, she had realized who the two reminded her of once she paid close attention.

The first woman seemed like the Ancient One in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, while the other looked eerily similar to Gildarts from the anime known as Fairy Tail.

"Ok. What the hell is going on here? Why have the Ancient One and Gildarts, both people from entirely separate multiverses, come and abducted me from mine?" Tsunade asked, causing both individuals to chuckle.

"Well, Lady Senju, we have reached out to you in order to gain your assistance in a matter far bigger than yourself. It concerns the entirety of our multiverse, or the Naruto Multiverse, as some may call it.

Let me give you a brief explanation. In general, there exists the original or prime world. Changes in this world that are small or very indistinguishable at the beginning, but can grow into major changes in the future, each become separate timelines. In each of these worlds, a small snowball grew into a massive avalanche.

However, if a major change immediately occurs, then it doesn't simply branch off into a mere timeline, but an entirely separate universe. As the amount of worlds grew to a greater degree, so did the threats that could cause chaos throughout it. One of these threats has begun to threaten the entirety of the Multiverse."

Yao paused for a moment in realization before she continued

"Oh. It seems we have come a bit too early. I'm afraid I shall have to cut this conversation short. We will meet again, Tsunade."

Before Tsunade could make a single movement, she felt herself engulfed by a white light once again.

Tsunade opened her eyes again to see herself back in Roran, with an asleep Naruto by his side.

'What was that?' Tsunade questioned as she left to return to the Village with Naruto, with the conversation she had just had weighing heavily upon her mind.

Tsunade arrived home and immediately recounted her adventure to Hiruzen.

The Third Hokage was shocked at the revelations of what occurred, as he stated that he had just sent her on the mission the day before.

The fact that Naruto, the Jinchuriki of the Nine Tails of that world was brought to their Village also made Hiruzen happy, as it meant Konoha had another card to use against opposing Villages.

Tsunade finally finished her debrief, with her bringing the nervous Naruto with her.

"What if they don't like me?" Naruto said with worry and fear.

"They'll love you just like I do." Tsunade said as she rubbed his hair before opening the door.

"We're home."
