As soon as Sasuke heard Jugram's promise that he could kill the man in the shortest period of time, he felt quite agitated. Deep within his heart, he was already inclined to accept Jugram's proposal, but he maintained a sense of rationality. Sasuke then asked, "Why should I believe you?"

Jugram replied, "I knew you wouldn't be convinced so easily. You still have that superiority complex ingrained, thinking you're an Uchiha while I'm someone who can't even perform simple ninjutsu. How could someone like me give you the strength to defeat that man? So, engage in a fight with me, and you'll naturally ascertain whether I possess the power I claim or if I'm merely a scammer boasting."

Sasuke, already swayed by Jugram's proposal, nodded and gripped his kunai before launching an attack on Jugram. He also wanted to gauge Jugram's true power firsthand.

Jugram calmly watched as Sasuke approached him. When Sasuke drew near, Jugram swiftly unsheathed his sword and slashed at the kunai in Sasuke's hand. With ease, Jugram's sword cut Sasuke's kunai in half.

This was totally unexpected for Sasuke; he never in his wildest imagination thought that Jugram would be able to cut his kunai with such ease. As a result, Sasuke's pupils shrank, feeling the danger in remaining so close to Jugram. Immediately, Sasuke retreated and jumped backwards.

As soon as Sasuke landed on the ground after jumping backward, Jugram appeared in front of Sasuke and placed his sword at Sasuke's neck.

"You are too slow," said Jugram. After saying this, he removed the sword from Sasuke's neck.

Sasuke was at a complete loss for words. He, hailed as the best student of the class, couldn't even hold his ground against his opponent. If this were a life-and-death battle, he would have died twice already. He knew that even during the first encounter when Jugram cut his kunai, Jugram could have killed him then and there.

Seeing Sasuke at a loss for words, Jugram said, "Okay, you are too weak in close combat and you lost in that aspect, but let's continue. For your consolation, go ahead and use your ninjutsu. Whatever ninjutsu you want, you can use it. So that you don't feel that if you had used ninjutsu, then you could have won. And yes, don't worry, I won't avoid or run away from your ninjutsu. I will stand right here without moving an inch. Lastly, don't worry about my safety; I assure you, your attack won't harm me. So, go all out."

Sasuke nodded, although he felt quite doubtful about whether Jugram could truly survive his ninjutsu without moving, as Jugram claimed. Jugram didn't know any kind of ninjutsu to defend against his techniques. However, Sasuke, trusting that Jugram would never joke with his life, decided to use the ninjutsu for which the Uchiha clan is famous: the 'Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique.'

Sasuke made the necessary hand seals and used the 'Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique.' With fast speed and precision, it hit Jugram. Throughout this entire time, Jugram didn't budge from his place at all; he stood there like a rock.

Finally, when the flames from the released ninjutsu dissipated, Sasuke was able to see Jugram standing calmly. Jugram was surrounded by a sky-blue translucent shield covering his entire body. Around Jugram, there was a charred pothole, demonstrating the destructive power of the 'Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique.' However, Jugram stood in the middle of it all, completely unharmed.

Jugram raised his hand, and a sky-blue bow formed from chakra materialized in it. As he pulled the string of the chakra bow, an arrow, also made of chakra, formed on the bow. Finally, Jugram fired this arrow from his left side. The arrow effortlessly pierced through five thick tree trunks before hitting the rock behind them, which blasted into pieces, demonstrating the immense power contained within the arrow.

"The strength you have just witnessed is not my peak strength; it is merely my baseline strength," said Jugram. "Now that you're aware of my capabilities, you can tell me your decision. If you need time to consider it, that's okay. I'm willing to wait," he added, waiting for Sasuke's reply.

Sasuke said, "I am convinced that I've completely lost to you. Your strength far surpasses mine. I'm also beginning to believe that you truly have the ability to make me stronger. If you can genuinely provide me with the strength I seek, then I'm willing to join your Sternritter."

Jugram nodded and said with a smile, "This is good to hear. But I must warn you now, before you join me: you can never betray the Sternritter. If you do, I will kill you. If you think you can exploit the Sternritter for your own purposes and then simply leave, you are sorely mistaken. Let me be very clear: you may be many things, but you can never be stronger than me. Killing you will be a mere thought within my grasp."

"I understand. If someone can truly provide me with strength, then I am willing to make a deal with the devil," said Sasuke.

"Very good. Come closer and stand in front of me," said Jugram, and Sasuke complied.

Jugram placed his hand on Sasuke's head and used the 'Soul Distribution Power.' As soon as Jugram activated it, Sasuke became engulfed in flames.
