Ch.6 Academy Life

Practising chakra control had been part of my daily routine. To speed up my practice I was thinking of a way to learn shadow clone jutsu but even that needs a certain amount of control, once I reach that I am learning shadow clone jutsu from my clan's scrolls, it was given as a gift to my clan from Konoha a long time ago.

Next day started the same I went to the academy with kuroka. Reaching there we greeted our friend and soon the class started. Today first class was about leaf village and Hokage.

At the end of the class, Iruka sensei asked a question.

IRUKA: So who do you think is the greatest Hokage

Listing everyone started talking about it. Some said the first Hokage because he was the god of shinobi some said third as he is a master in all the elements and some said fourth as he died for the village but I didn't give my opinion but think for some time put my hand up.

IRUKA: Vergil you want to answer

he said as everyone stopped speaking and gave him attention.

VERGIL: Yes sensei. According to me the first Hokage was not the greatest Hokage yes he was the greatest shinobi with his powerful wood style but he was not the greatest Hokage.

For me the greatest Hokage was the second Hokage Tobirama Senju but not because of his powerful water style jutsu's but because during the second ninja world war he covered for his team and helped them escape by sacrificing himself.

He died the way he wanted and that was while protecting the village and for the village. He also made sure to name his successor before dies so the village is not in a chaos without him.

Hearing my answer all of the class and Iruka sensei looked at me dumbfounded.

IRUKA:'He has such intelligence at such a young age even I wouldn't have thought in such a way, I have to tell lord Hokage about it'

IRUKA: It was a nice answer vergil now you may sit.

For the next period, Iruka sensei told us to come to the ground as it was target practice day.

All of us came to the ground and Iruka sensei started to teach us about how to throw shuriken and kunai, how to hold then and then showed us a demo.

After that, he told us to hit the target. Most of the kids were doing fine as the class I was in only contained kids of famous clans but leaving one and that was naruto.

Then it was Sasuke's turn and he hit the bull's eye two of the five times and then I heard the most irritating voice.

SAKURA: Sasuke~ you are the best

Damn, I really hate it thank god that these naive girls see me as an outsider and I don't have a fangirls club after me otherwise with the body of vergil many girls will be attracted to me. What he did not know he will curse himself to jinx himself in the next few years.

When it was kuroka's turn she hit three bullseyes out of the five. To which some boys cheering for her and when she came back I teased her.

VERGIL: So even you have a fan club

But she didn't answer me and pinched my waist and looked away while pouting.

Next was my turn sensei handed me five shurikens when I heard someone say

(Jealous PERSON 1): Hump! let's see what this outsider orphan can do

I did not reply to him just threw all the shuriken continuously in rhythm and all my shuriken hit the bullseye with a gap of 1mm which shut the mouth of everyone.

The day ended and I was going home with kuroka. we first reached my home as she wanted to stop by my house.

In front of my house, I saw a box with a newborn kitten in it, I think it was abandoned by someone. I picked up the box and looked at the cat.

KUROKA: What is it?

VERGIL: Someone abandoned a cat here.

She was angry after she heard what I said o think because of her being half cat previously.

We went inside my house and I hold the cat while patting its head thinking of a name for her.

Seeing towards kuroka I was about to ask for suggestions but she seemed somewhat jealous. I couldn't understand at first but when it rings the bell I understood what she wanted.

I went close to her and patted her head she was first surprised but showed a satisfied expression later and I could swear she was purring.

I stopped after a while and removed my hand from her head and looked in her eyes with a warm smile.

VERGIL: There there, No need to be jealous kuroka I can pat your head whenever you want.

She looked away to hide her embarrassment and then said.

KUROKA: Idiot! who wants to get patted by you

she said in a tsundere way but her smile betrayed her and I giggled at her behaviour.
