I can't help but curse internally. It's nice to be promoted yes, but this promotion came with a ridiculous task.

Hokage definitely knew something, in secret promoted me. I am now a Chunin, but there is a catch, I still have to participate in the Chunin exam.

In fact, that was the S-rank mission he was talking about.

"Yes, in fact, this mission is only something you can do…" Hokage said to my surprise.

I didn't say anything, for the time being just let him talk.

"You are fighting with Gaara right…" He asked with a little smile on his face, and I didn't like this already.

In short, he wanted me to use sealing jutsu to stop Gaara from unleashing the one Tail inside the village.

What the fuck that suppose to be, I hardly have started learning Sealing arts, I don't have what it takes to do that… to which his response was to leave it to him.

Apparently, someone will soon come to teach me sealing arts…

Someone huh? That was maybe the only interesting info I heard from that old man's mouth, after all, who else would that someone be beside the pervert himself.

Learning under him, that is actually not that bad, I don't even want him to teach me flashy jutsu, if only I could learn Fuinjutsu under him, that would be more than enough…

But back at the real problem at hand, let's say I learned from Jiraiya, that beating someone like Gaara would still be hard.

I never planned to fight him and beat him honestly, I was bunking on the cannon events to repeat itself up to now.

However, when it comes to fighting Gaara for real, I'm not sure whether I do it?

With my current skill set, I can't do it for sure, even Lee wasn't able to. If I resort to using my Shikigami then maybe I can…

However, that is not gonna be a normal fight. I have to seal his Biju Chakra so that he can't release the one tail. Something similar to the 5 elemental seals which Orochimaru used on Naruto.

It's gonna be hard…

Sigh It's just my luck.

Why was that old man giving me this kind of mission in the first place, I barely am a Chunin right now.

I need a powerful jutsu under my command before the finals. In this one month, I not only have to learn significant things about seals but also have to perfect that one technique.

Truly… Grind never ends.

The next day I woke up early, I had to go meet my new Fuinjutsu Teacher. He told me that I would find in hot springs…

There was no reason to ask him why. I was just wondering whether I will study with Naruto this month?

 Before going to the destination, I went to the hospital. To find the man I saved yesterday.

"Hello, Hayate San. How are you doing? Everything fine I believe." Enter the door and ask.

The man was looking sickly as ever and beside him was seating a beautiful woman with purple hair. I can't remember her name, namely because her role in the story was near next to nothing. I remember her only because she seems to be Hayate's girlfriend.

I just nodded at the woman sitting beside her and turned back to Hayate. "Is your wound all healed ?" I asked with a smile on my face.

"Cough cough…" At this the man coughs a little, slowly sitting up straight he smiles at me and replies.

"All because of you Nara san. Thank you for saving my life yesterday. You not only helped but also did great service to the village." Hayate said, making me wonder whether the man had finally talked with Hokage.

"Just call me Shika. I am glad you are all healed up. I just came to check on you. Please don't mind me, I am sure that I am disturbing your quality time…" I smile, though the tone is surely teasing, and wave my hands before leaving the room.

I also notice the little hint of red on that woman's face, it is good to tease others.

Though the reason why I came here was not achieved, yup I didn't just come here to waste my time on nothing. I wanted to talk with Gekko a little, more like a warm-up to him to the point that he willingly taught me his sword's skill.

Currently, in Konoha, there are not many swordsmen, due to Zabuza's skills I have good skills but that's my only source of learning swords right now, that is the reason why I wanted to train with him a little. But seeing that girl was there, I knew that I couldn't talk with him right now. So just leave it for the time being.

A part of the reason why I decided to save Hayate was also related to this. Though I genuinely wanted to save him.

Coming to the hot springs, I saw Naruto training with Ebisu, it was water-walking, I just dont get it why do they have to do it here in the hot springs?

Whatever, I just have to wait for Jiraiya here.

And why I am at it, let's practice in my ace… I water all need this jutsu to fight against Gaara.
