Chapter 72 - The Akatsuki and Orochimaru

Kabuto looked at Orochimaru with star shining in his eyes. "Kabuto, if my theory is correct then we will finally have something that can increase our lifespan and power."

"Orochimaru-sama, what this is thing we are talking about?" kabuto excitedly asked.

"the thing we need is a national Treasure of Konoha, the nine tail Fox."

"The nine tails!" Kabuto looked shocked.

"But Orochimaru-sama, how can we get the Nine tails from the Konoha? It's next to impossible. If Danzo was still alive then we might have some chance but now I don't see any way."

"Kabuto let me tell you something, out of all the tail beasts only the Nine tail Fox doesn't has any elemental power. The Nine Tail Fox is known for its immense amount of vitality. I intend to use the Nine tail fox DNA to stabilize Berserk Drug."

"I got this idea from The Golden and Silver brothers who attacked the 2nd Hokage, 2nd Raikage during the peace meeting two villages. The Golden and Silver were swallowed up by the nine tails. But they did not died instead they lived inside the stomach of the Nine tails by eating the Nine tails flesh and gained a piece of Nine tails Powers."

"So we have to get the Nine tails if we want to get the 9 tails for ourselves."

"But how Orochimaru-sama?" Kabuto couldn't think of any way of getting the Nine tails from Konoha especially when they have the Yellow Flash and the Devil Ashura of the leaf. And Worst part, both of them can teleportation.

"Why don't you come out already?" Orochimaru said as he grinned. Kabuto became alert hearing Orochimaru's words.

"HeHeHe!" Orochimaru and Kabuto was shocked to see a black being coming out from the ground. The beings whole body was made of dark stretchy material.

"My name is Black Zetsu. I am from Akatsuki." Orochimaru knew had heard about this new organization. Akatsuki was created when the third great ninja war still ongoing.

"So what does Akatsuki wants from me?" Orochimaru asked.

"Simple Akatsuki would like to make a deal with you if you are interested."

Orochimaru looked at Kabuto and he nodded and walked out of the room with the 8 years old child. The Black Zetsu sat on a chair facing Orochimaru.

"Orochimaru, I or we the Akatsuki are currently on a mission. A mission to gather all the 9 tail beasts."

"Interesting, so you guys are going after world domination." Orochimaru licked his lips.

"We know you desire immortality more than anything. But to complete your research you will need a piece of Nine tails. So here the thing, the Akatsuki wants to form an alliance with you, The legendary Sannin." Orochimaru grinned as he licked his lips. He knew that working with the Akatsuki is the best option for him. Without the Akatsuki's help, it would utterly impossible to complete his research.

"But how do I know that the Akatsuki won't betray me?" Orochimaru might be greedy for his research but he wasn't stupid. He knew that there is no such thing as free lunch in this world.

"The Akatsuki only wants the Nine tails and you, as the former shinobi of Leaf has the safe access pass to enter the leaf. Help the Akatsuki in safely entering the village and we will do the rest. I no the Akatsuki promises you will get a piece of Nine tails."

Seeing Orochimaru still not believing, Black Zetsu continued. "We Akatsuki has 4 Kage rank shinobi." Orochimaru knew with 4 Kage rank ninja, capturing Nine tails would be impossible.

"But What about Minato and that Finn?" Orochimaru was worried about them as both of them was a Kage rank teleportation user.

"Orochimaru, we are not going to attack leaf. We only want the Nine tails host, Kushina. Akatsuki already has a plan on how we will kidnap Kushina from the leaf. But if the leaf knows about our presence then our 4 Kage rank ninja is there to handle the situation." Orochimaru grinned.

"Before agreeing, I want to ask one last question. How many tail beast have the Akatsuki has collected so far?"

Black Zetsu did no intent to hide this from Orochimaru because sooner or later the whole continent would know about the Akatsuki.

"When Finn killed the 3rd Raikage and his son along with 10,000 Shinobi, the cloud village was greatly weakened. It was very easy to kidnap the 2 tails host from their village. As for the 3 tails, well let just say that our a certain someone used genjutsu on the 4th Mizukage when he was forced to step down from the position of Mizukage." Black said the last part mysteriously as no one knew about him.

'To Able to control a tailed beast host using Genjutsu, looks like the Akatsuki is not that simple.' Orochimaru licked his lips with his snake tongue.

"I also want to ask, do you know what Finn is doing these days?" Zetsu asked as he knew that with Finn staying on the village it would extremely hard to take Kushina from the village.

"I heard that Finn is traveling outside after the third great ninja world. But so far I am unable to find his exact location. It's like he vanished from the elemental nation." Orochimaru had a network of spy spread throughout the elemental nations.

"But I am sure he is not in the village." Orochimaru always kept his eye on Finn as he knew that Finn had the strength to kill him. Orochimaru was always wary of Finn.

"That's good. If Finn were to intervene, then we will have a hard time to executing our plan."

Black Zetsu stood up and looked. "Now give us what we need."

"It's been a long time since I saw Finn. I wonder where he is." Kurenai said. After the war, Kurenai had been promoted to a Chunin and now she is working hard on getting stronger and also completing missions on a regular basis. Kurenai already had mastered her clan's genjutsu technique.

Kurenai life was simple. She had no real motivation to get stronger. She was always an average on everything but after she meet Finn, something inside her changed. Seeing Finn get so strong, Kurenai felt that Finn was getting further and further away from her. The only way she could close the distance between them is by getting stronger.

Then Kurenai one day heard a rumor that Finn is dating Rin who was student of Tsunade and working as a medical ninja. Kurenai felt sad and disappointed but she also knew something that others didn't. Kurenai knew that Finn already was living with a women, named Kaguya and was dating Kaguya, one day she saw them on a date. Kurenai believed as long as she worked hard enough she could attract Finn's attention.
