'Huh'

Naruto thought he had been hallucinating after last night's drama but was unfortunately proven wrong moments later. The Hokage appeared in a swirl of leaves.

"Naruto-Kun. Are you alright my poor boy?"

Naruto was very gloomy and spoke in a slow sad tone very much out of character for the normal hyperactive happy-go-lucky boy he knew. There were a few changes in his appearance such as the noticeable loss of innocence in his eyes that were once warm and happy where now cold and detached

"Yes Hokage-Jiji, I'm fine."What do you remember from last night, my boy?"

Naruto began recounting last night's events in order from him going on his way to Ichirakus to him being lured and ambushed by a group of adults to him being overflowed with strange chakra. He purposefully left out the system as enough people had already thought of him as a demon freak this was something he would show nobody his own secret.

The Hokage's expression changed multiple times throughout the story starting from sadness to disappointment in the civilians to anger at their behaviour and settling at concern when the crimson-haired boy told him about how he massacred the horde of adults. He had seen many children aspiring to be shinobi get lost on the path of darkness after taking their first life many lost their will to continue the job that's why being a shinobi wasn't for everyone. However, due to war finished five years ago, meant that due to the temporary peace the newer generation wasn't aware of the real world too naive and ignorant to see the bloodshed, pain and suffering that the world had to offer.

However, not Naruto, he appeared unbothered as if he had done it thousands of times as if it was second nature.

"Hokage-Jiji I have a question." Asked Naruto hesitantly his tone unsure. "Gowan young one speak freely."

"Am I the Kyuubi, Many of the villagers addressed me as such last night?"

The Sandaime was a very experienced shinobi he was extremely good at masking his facial expressions and hiding away his emotions however, what Naruto just said made The Hokage's eyes widen considerably and his jaw go slack.

"So they were right then." Naruto wasn't as stupid as most would think in fact he was extremely smart he just didn't want to show it.

"N-No Naruto you are most certainly not the Kyuubi! It appears what I was trying to hide for so long must come out, you deserve to know, I have no choice. What I'm about to tell you is an S-class secret so it's punishable by death if it's leaked." Naruto gulped at that fearing what could be so important.

"Hai I won't tell anyone Jiji."

"Due to the secret being about you I'm entrusting you to tell anyone you wish however I advise you not to until you're strong enough to protect those you care about and yourself okay Naruto-Kun?"

When he received a hai the old man continued "Naruto you are the Jinchūriki of the Kyuubi, that does not mean you are the Kyuubi though, Your father Minato Namikaze the Yondaime was the man who sealed the Kyuubi inside of you."

"Who was my mother old man?" The Sandaime let a smile spread upon his cheeks as he reminisced the past, "Aha that would be Kushina Uzumaki a very beautiful and talented kunoichi second to none but my former student Tsunade Senju. She was the Heiress to the Uzumaki clan that resided in the Land of Waterfalls. However, I am afraid to say that Uzushiogakure was massacred during the second shinobi world war. It took the combined efforts of Kumo, Kiri Iwa and Suna as well as multiple other minor countries."

Naruto's recently better mood and excitement went sour and deflated again.

"So all of my family is dead then?"

"No, not quite your godfather was Jiraiya, my other student however, his spy network matters too much and his presence is required elsewhere, worry not as hell return in a few years. Also, Tsunade is one of your cousins so and so removed as the Uzumaki Clan and the Senju Clan were extremely close, hell the wife of Hashirama the Shodaime and mother of Tsunade were Mito Uzumaki. Not just that but your paternal grandfather was an Uchiha, Minato wouldn't tell me much but I do know for sure that he deserted the clan decades ago. He had unlocked his Sharingan and fully awakened it all the way up to the three tomoe stage. He would use to hide it under a genjutsu so nobody would be able to see as he didn't want his heritage being leaked. Only myself Tsunade, Jiraiya, Fugaku and Kakashi know about your father's true heritage."

Naruto was simply astonished unable to say a single word at first he was angry that with all this family nobody was there for him but at the same time, he understood that some either don't know or are unable to see him for personal reasons.

Naruto stared at Hiruzens eyes, A glistening violet met brown and as if challenging him, a fire brightly burned showing determination. Hiruzen was taken aback he felt as if it was Minato himself staring back at him if it wasn't for the fact that Naruto had red hair instead of a golden blonde.

"Listen up Hogake-Jiji, from today onwards I vow that I will bring success back to the Uzumaki clan, I will become the strongest being to roam the elemental nations a shinobi and a man my parents can be proud of."

The old man burst out laughing and gave naruto a scroll.

"I believe you Naruto I really do, this scroll contains the location and the key to your parents' house. Once you begin the academy and unlock your chakra open the scroll and take hold of your legacy, the legacy of the fourth."
