little change

I'm kind of tired when writing this chapter, as three weeks ago, a storm knocked down an entire wall from the construction above my house where I'm building rooms. So, as soon as I got up today, I started building the wall. I was practically dying from the heat.

That's why this chapter is coming out earlier than the previous two, as I'm sure I'll go to sleep much earlier today.

[I stopped at 10 because I had no battery and had to eat, by the way, I watched a summary of 'The Society of the Snow.']

I like to include references in my chapters; I hope you find them.

[Tikigakure, Residence of the Daimyo]

[Third Person POV]

The Daimyo was a true genius, with surprising creativity for a man of his caliber. Digging into his memories, I realize why he is in this state despite his ingenuity, as the only times he used his head were to live in the laziest way possible. While putting the "country," which in my opinion would be better called a village, in danger in various ways, he immersed himself too much in gambling, squandering money right and left.

Did he want a woman in his bed?... he got one with money, either by sending a kunoichi on a mission to sleep with him or offering a woman from the village who ran into his arms because of his position. Many came to him despite his appearance because, being the Daimyo, they thought that if their "moves" pleased him enough, he could take them as concubines, and they could live luxuriously.

The worst part was that he paid the kunoichis who came as B or A-rank missions, to "take care" of the Daimyo, although he knew that by doing so, he put his village in danger by bringing shinobi from other villages to his territory. But he didn't care. Though lustful, he wasn't foolish enough to bring a Jonin to his village, even though Jonins usually took A-rank missions, much to his enjoyment, no matter how much that situation cost him.

Only Chunin-ranked kunoichi were allowed to take on the mission since, although they were a weak ninja village, they had at least ten Jonin-level ninjas, and none above that level. At least they could defend themselves with the Water of the Heroes.

From what I see in his memories, the Daimyo initially enjoyed the care of the kunoichis and some villagers. However, that quickly changed when he started gaining weight and lost all his physical fitness by lying around. And even though he continued bringing women, whether kunoichis or villagers, there was a problem...

As soon as he and his companions went to bed... the Daimyo fell into a deep sleep. It continued like this for approximately 7 consecutive years until the present, where he is now 27 years old... yes... at the age of 20, he already fell into bed. The good thing about it is that he has no offspring; the bad thing is that in this era, not having offspring at that age gave a bad impression.

Well, putting that aside, as I said, the Daimyo was a genius with great creativity who created a new method of transportation to avoid moving around his entire residence. He created a transportation method that he called the [Shining Throne propelled by chakra shinobi]. Leonel suspected that Boruto's trains were based on this transport.

The concept of the transport is simple. To avoid moving, the Daimyo had a chair made with the most expensive materials to make it sturdy, comfortable, and luxurious. Then, he had cables made that were used with chakra. These cables were attached to the chair, and the ninjas had to grab and stretch them while walking on both sides of the wall. To prevent the chair from falling, the Daimyo had a chakra control expert walk on the ceiling while balancing the chair. That way, the Daimyo transported himself throughout the house. Although my deepest condolences to those people who transported 240kg every day.

Although now, as I see in the memories, every day they gained more muscles, Leonel realized that the Daimyo, unintentionally, had contributed to the development of physical and chakra control skills of his transporters, serving as weights that increased every day. As they moved through the corridors and halls, the ninjas gained strength and skill, gradually transforming into more robust and resilient versions of themselves.

Leonel couldn't help but feel a mix of amazement and disbelief at the situation. Thanks to his indulgent life before transmigrating, he had indirectly influenced the development of his servants.

At the same time, he wondered how he could use these circumstances to his advantage. Perhaps, instead of seeing this position as a burden, he could leverage the loyalty and enhanced skills of his servants to strengthen the security of his village and his own.

As he continued exploring memories and reflecting on possibilities, he reached his destination, which was the central room of this residence.

"Yoriichi-sama, we have arrived at our destination." Asumi's beautiful voice pulled Leonel out of his thoughts and back to reality.

With a gesture from Leonel, the transporting ninjas released the chakra cables, allowing the "Shining Throne" to descend gracefully. Leonel, holding his staff, walked towards a massive chair with a desk in front. The room was a spectacle of opulence and luxury, in stark contrast to the decay that Leonel had observed in his memories. The walls were covered with rich tapestries and elaborate decorations reflecting the Daimyo's status. The dim light from the lamps, combined with a window overlooking the residence gardens, where the light filtered softly inside, made the place warm and majestic.

In the center of the room was an enormous intricately designed chair, which, at its creation, had been made with the most luxurious materials. Its upholstery shone in dark and rich tones, adorned with intricate details. Behind the chair, an imposing desk of fine wood extended, covered with scrolls, papers, and valuable objects.

The desk was meticulously organized, with exotic bird feathers, elaborately designed inkwells, and carefully aligned documents. In the center of the desk lay a detailed map of Tikigakure, marked with strategic locations and points of interest.

Leonel, now standing in front of the desk, contemplated his own reflection in a nearby mirror. The reality of his position as a leader and observer weighed on him. He realized that, to change Tikigakure's destiny for the better, he would have to improve both himself and the village.

Asumi remained silent, waiting for her leader's instructions. With determination, Leonel walked with his staff and stood on the chair after more than 8 years without entering this room, entering the same room where his father was found dead by himself.

The first time he sat in this chair was with his father, and the second to proclaim himself the leader of this country that day by day falls apart, and the previous one, he did nothing to change it, passing his imposing hands over a painting where a family of three was depicted, with a heavy noise, he sat in the imposing chair, resting his imposing arm. Joining the tips of his fingers, he immersed himself in his thoughts.

"I must change."

  ------------------

Hello everyone, this chapter didn't turn out as I expected, it even took me by surprise to decide to give the Daimyo a backstory rather than portraying him as simply being bad due to having power in his head. In this chapter, the only thing that came out as I initially thought was the "Shining Throne," and I had planned to show the main character (MC) devising plans with the information he has. In the end, the chapter ended up being more of a small glimpse into how the Daimyo was before he passed away, providing a slight reason for why he is the way he is.

For the next chapter, I might explore the Daimyo's past; I need to put together his entire story. Alternatively, I could focus on the MC's plans. By the way, the MC is Leonel, but he accepted the personality of the Daimyo, which is why, in the end, he says he must change.

Now, I'm going to bed. I am very tired
