Ch 3 : Overhaul

After the two finished refining their Chakra, Chisaki's father decided to give them a few days of rest as he also needed to go on a mission.

The whole livelihood of Chisaki's family was supported by his mission, so if he didn't go for a mission for too long, the family of three might not have anything to eat.

However, contrary to his expectations, his children didn't take this time to rest and instead continued to go on with their training.

Chisaki was now standing behind their small house with eyes closed and hands on the ground.

In the last week of training, he hadn't gotten the chance to try his overhaul ability. Therefore, Chisaki was now very excited to see just how much this special ability of him could do.

Still, things usually didn't go as easy as planned. After a few minutes of closing his eyes and touching the ground, there seemed to be no change in the ground.

In the anime, Overhaul easily spammed this ability, but even after a few minutes of trying, Chisaki still didn't know how he could access this special ability of him.

"Should I try it once more.. This time with Chakra?" Chisaki found himself stuck and began to experiment with a few things. But the moment he began to input Chakra into the ground, he felt there were slight changes in the ground. "I see! So the power has been accustomed to Ninja world, huh?"

Chisaki felt that he had finally gotten a clue to how his ability worked. This cheat was given to him so he could survive this world, so it couldn't be so simple and weak. At 5 years old, his Chakra was still in the growing period, so being able to do C-Rank ninjutsu about three times should be enough for the current him. But Chisaki nonetheless was dissatisfied.

Still, he could do nothing about it now, and could only hope that his Chakra would grow faster.

A few weeks passed, and now it was already April. It is year 50 since Konoha's establishment, and in another two years, the second ninja world war would envelop the whole Shinobi world.

This year was also the one when Chisaki and Konan would enter the Suna ninja school.

Following the return of Chisaki's father from his mission, he brought the two little children to the Suna ninja school, where they would spend the few next years of their life.

The Sunagakure Academy, different from Konoha, is a massive Colosseum-like structure located on one of the many cliffs in the outlying regions of the village. It is located in the sixth and outermost precinct of the village.

Chisaki and Konan arrived at the ninja academy with the guidance of their father and couldn't help but marvel at the exotic-looking building that would still be strange even if placed on earth.

"If I'm not wrong, the only one worth keeping an eye on this year is Sasori. *Sigh* I hope he wouldn't have that young master syndrome."

Chisaki sighed as he felt weird about all of this.

The year he was born could be said as in the middle of everyone. It was in between Minato's and Kakashi's generation. According to other transmigrators, shouldn't he be reborn in either Minato, Kakashi, or Naruto's generation as their rival?

"Well, it's pretty troublesome!"

"Chisaki, You've been lost in your thoughts for long enough now! You are not thinking about other girls, right?"

"Ah, Konan, what are you saying? Of course, I'm not thinking about any other girl."

Chisaki instinctually explained to Konan. He didn't know why, but he had a feeling that things would be a lot more troublesome to him if the misunderstanding was to continue.

"Hahahaha, kids, stop bickering. The school is right in front of us. I will register you here, so you guys can go inside and take a look around the school!"
