Kushina shuffled through a bunch of seals, her hands deftly sorting and inspecting each one.

Despite the lamp on her desk not fully lighting up the room, she had no trouble going over the seals, using chakra to enhance her vision.

Renjiro, standing a couple of steps away, observed Kushina's skilful handling of the seals. He was hoping that everything was fine with them so he could finally get a summon.

As he waited, his mind wandered off,

'It is funny that this is a world where people can manifest all the elements and perform incredible feats with chakra, yet the development of this place is way slower than Earth because they still use lamps as a source of light.'

'Then again, it's not like shinobi need it because of chakra. So it is kinda understandable that the development of this world is slow because of the versatile dependence and use of chakra. Maybe even it was the civilians who pushed for the technological advancements that happened between now and the start of the anime.'

After a while, Kushina looked up from the seals, breaking Renjiro's train of thought.

"So, Renjiro," she asked, "how long did it take you to master these seals?"

Renjiro replied, "It was longer than I expected. The overall seal wasn't too hard to master, but the jutsu-shiki was a bit challenging. It contained aspects I wasn't familiar with."

Kushina looked intrigued. "Which aspects gave you trouble?" she asked.

"It had space-time aspects in the matrix formula," Renjiro explained.

Kushina's eyes widened slightly.

'Just as expected' she thought.

"Seals involving space-time aspects are rare and notoriously difficult to master," she said. "It's impressive that you managed to work through it. Space-time ninjutsu is a complex field, even for experienced shinobi."

Renjiro nodded, feeling a mix of pride and relief at her words. "It took a lot of trial and error," he admitted. "But once I understood the basic principles, the three days of continuous practice were worth it and I could piece together the rest of the matrix."

'Three days? And he said that it was longer than he expected? Did he expect to master it in a day?' Kushina thought.

"Remember, the key to successfully getting a summoning is not just in the seal but in your connection with the summon. Trust your instincts and be open to what the encounter may bring."

Renjiro nodded, absorbing her advice. He felt more prepared and confident than before, so that was progress.

'He learnt them so fast, even Minato is having issues with figuring out the workings of Lord Second's jutsu. Should I ask him to ask Renjiro? He might help. No, that would be crazy. Besides him being too young to know about that jutsu, mastering summoning seals is way easier than an S-rank jutsu.' Kushina's mind veered off.

One of her friends, Minato had just been rewarded by an S-rank jutsu by the Hokage for his contributions to the village. Well 'friend' was a loose term since Minato was her only friend in Konoha.

Renjiro did not count since Kushina considered him as family due to the clan relations which was valid in its own ways.

Minato had been struggling with the jutsu which was to be expected as it was made by the Second Hokage, who was a genius that created numerous jutsus in Konoha.

So the next person he could ask was Kushina, the very person who taught him most of his Fuinjutsu. However, Kushina also encountered the same problems.

That was the major reason why Kushina considered asking for Renjiro's help. While he was not yet a Fuinjutsu grandmaster, a Different Perspective was always welcomed in solving problems.

Renjiro looked at Kushinawho was still deep in thought.

"So the seals are fine?" he asked, wanting to ensure he could use them as soon as possible.

Kushina nodded, "Yes, they are. You've done well to be cautious and create extra seals. Having fourteen seals means you have enough for seven trips. This gives you a much better chance of finding the summon you want."

Renjiro chuckled inwardly. 'She thinks I made more seals out of caution, but honestly, I was just being paranoid'

He knew all too well that a lot of things could go wrong during the summoning process. Realizing he was spiralling into negative thoughts that could jinx his chances, he quickly decided to shut down those thoughts.

With that, Renjiro left Kushina's home, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. As he walked through the village, the cool morning air filled his lungs, and he felt a sense of purpose.

Once back in his room, Renjiro spread out the fourteen summoning seals he had created. Each seal was a work of art, intricately designed with symbols and patterns that reflected his understanding of the Fuinjutsu of summoning seals.

'I hope this is enough', Renjiro thought.

He picked up one of the seals and examined it closely. The symbols seemed to shimmer slightly, an indication of the chakra infused within the very ink used.

Steeling his resolve, Renjiro placed the seal back with the others.

'I need to pack all the essentials in my storage seals, I am not even sure how long this would take. I just hope I complete this before anyone comes looking for me.'

Renjiro stood in his room, having packed everything he thought he might need for this summoning process.

After double-checking that all the summoning seals were securely stowed, he took a deep breath, expelling it loudly as if to rid himself of any lingering doubts.

'This is it', he thought, feeling a surge of determination.

He carefully picked up one of the summoning seals and held it in his right hand. With his left hand, he formed the necessary hand sign, his fingers moving with practised precision.

As he channelled his chakra into the seal, he felt a tingling sensation travel down his arm and into the paper, the symbols and patterns glowing faintly in response.

"Here goes nothing," Renjiro muttered to himself, focusing intently on the seal.

The seal responded almost immediately. There was a brief, intense moment where Renjiro felt as if he was being pulled in multiple directions at once.

"Poof!!"

Renjiro's surroundings began to blur, and a cloud of smoke enveloped him. The smoke was thick and swirling, obscuring everything from view.

When the smoke cleared, Renjiro found himself disoriented, his vision spinning.

He took a moment to steady himself, blinking rapidly to clear his head. As his senses began to sharpen, he realized with a jolt that he was not standing on solid ground.

He was free-falling through the air, the sensation of weightlessness causing his heart to race.

Panic set in for a brief moment as Renjiro scanned his surroundings, trying to make sense of where he was. All he could see below him was a vast expanse of water, stretching out endlessly in every direction.

The sunlight reflected off the surface, creating a blinding glare that made it difficult to gauge how far he was from the water.

'Great! Of all the places I could end up, I just had to appear close to the ocean!' Renjiro thought as he prepared himself for his imminent fall into the waters.
