Eiji, a student with an abnormally good memory, is transported to the Naruto world as Itachi's cousin and a member of the Uchiha clan. He uses his exceptional memory to his advantage, growing stronger at a faster pace than his peers. Note: The story's timeline will be accurate. There will be custom jutsu in the story. Do not expect the MC to act like a special agent. Naruto as a story, has a ton of issues, so I'll resolve them in my own way. This is a Fanfiction.

Boredom. That's the only word that would come to mind when Eiji thought of his life. Some referred to him as a prodigy, others as a genius, but he gained no satisfaction from such words. He'd heard them all too much.

Eiji was a second-year high school student, but he felt like an unemployed adult. School, a place meant to challenge young minds, failed to challenge him. After his excessive overperformance in his first year of high school, his teachers no longer bothered questioning him.

'Only one more year till graduation, then I can leave this place.'

As usual, Eiji was resting his head on his arms, trying to get some sleep, when the bell signaling break rang. "Yo, Eiji, I heard there's another chess tournament and this time the reward is 80,000 yen! Help a friend out!" a boy in the same school uniform as Eiji's pleaded, standing before him.

The boy's name was Honda. Honda had been a childhood friend of Eiji's, so he didn't mind helping him out from time to time, but his requests were now getting excessive.

"Listen, Honda, I can't—" Before Eiji could finish his sentence, a loud crash could be heard as the classroom door flung open.

"Is there a kid named Eiji in here?!" an upperclassman yelled as he entered the room. Honda looked at Eiji with a panicked expression on his face.

"Eiji, don't tell him who you are!" Honda urged in a whisper.

Eiji, slightly curious as to what the upperclassman wanted, raised his arm, declaring himself as Eiji.

'Finally, something out of the ordinary. Let's see what he wants!'

The older boy approached Eiji's table, ripped open his bag, and dumped a book in front of Eiji. "I need you to complete my work. You're pretty famous around our school for being a smart kid, so this shouldn't be a problem for you!" the upperclassman laughed, patting Eiji on the back and turning around to leave.

Honda let out a big sigh, relieved that all the upperclassman wanted was for Eiji to do his work for him. "We dodged a bullet there..." Honda exhaled.

Thud! An action taken by Eiji made the room go silent. The book that was previously placed down on Eiji's table by the upperclassman was falling on the floor after hitting the older boy in the head.

Eiji raised his hand and stuck a middle finger up at the upperclassman. "Do it yourself, bastard!" Eiji roared.

Having seen the complete display of disrespect, the upperclassman stood in place, his eyebrow twitching, trying his best to contain his anger.

"Let's have a talk on the roof," the older boy commanded.

As Eiji was about to stand up, Honda grabbed his shoulder and shook his head. "ARE YOU CRAZY? DON'T MAKE THINGS WORSE!" Honda forcefully whispered.

'Honda, you're a good friend, but don't ruin my first chance at fun in a long time...'

Brushing Honda's arm off, Eiji stood and followed the senior to the rooftop. Once on the roof, the senior scared everyone off, so that it was only him and Eiji alone.

Sparking up a cigarette, the senior student looked at Eiji and took a puff. "You have balls, I'll give you that. But you've made a bad choice," the senior said in a matter-of-fact tone.

The senior took one last puff of the cigarette and took on a fighting stance, to which Eiji attempted to emulate. Eiji wasn't a fighter by any means, and he wasn't particularly muscular either, but he wanted to try something new. Something more thrilling.

'I do bodyweight exercises, so I am not scrawny, but I'm not as big as this senior either.'

Not willing to wait around any longer, the senior charged in, grabbing around Eiji's knees, lifting him up, and slamming him into the concrete.

"UGH," Eiji coughed. The impact had rattled him and made him lose air. The senior now stood above Eiji. Not wanting Eiji to recover, the senior delivered the finishing blow, causing Eiji to lose consciousness.

'I lost so easily. That's my first time losing at anything in so long. What a thrill… That stomp really did hurt, though…'

Eiji was now in a dream state. A bright light shone in the distance, moving closer to Eiji. Wanting to avoid the light that was approaching him, Eiji began to run in the opposite direction in hopes that he could escape. The farther he ran, the stronger the pull of the light became.

'Why is this thing trying to suck me in? The more I run, the stronger the pull becomes, but if I stay still, it just follows me.'

Resigned, Eiji decided to walk toward the light and let it envelop him. As the light completely engulfed him, he abruptly woke up.

A large face loomed over Eiji, staring at him with a wide grin. It was a woman with long hair that was tied into a ponytail. "He's so cute, isn't he, dear!" she exclaimed in an excited tone. Eiji's ears began to ring in immense pain; he hadn't expected the woman's voice to be so loud.

Eiji tried to cover his ears, but to no avail. His arms felt incredibly weak and heavy. Seeing as he couldn't move his arms, Eiji began to slightly panic, thinking his previous fight had caused him to become paralyzed.

'I'm not that feeble, am I?!'

"Oh, he's crying. I think he may be hungry!" the woman spoke once more.

'Crying? I'm not crying. What is she talking about?'

Eiji's state of denial was shattered when he felt something drip down his cheeks. Wanting to truly confirm if he was crying, Eiji attempted to touch his face, but again he failed to move.

'I don't like what conclusion my mind is coming to... It can't be... That just doesn't make sense. I'M A BABY?!'

Eiji's body began crying even more.

'It must respond to my emotions. If I get too stressed, the body cries. I'm not ready to be breastfed… Let me try and calm down.'

"Oh, it stopped crying. It seems he wasn't hungry. Sato, have you decided on a name or will I be the one to name him?" the woman asked.

A man who looked to be slightly older than the woman emerged into Eiji's view now. The man was bald, with a mid-length black beard.

"I don't know why, but I can't help but think Eiji would be a good name for him. It's better than calling him Goku like you suggested, Kiyoko. Eiji Uchiha will be our son's name!" the man Eiji knew as Sato declared.

'Ok... So that's my father... How did he get with a woman a lot more youthful and better looking than him? He appears to be five years older than her. ARGH! I'm focusing on the wrong details! I just can't wrap my head around how this happened, but I guess I've just got to adapt for now...'
