Rinnegan!
He possessed the absolutely overpowered Dojutsu in the Naruto verse!
Despite the overwhelming reality, it was still hard to believe.
Who could it be? Just who was generous enough to bestow such an outrageous cheat through a random pop-up?
An eccentric god, perhaps? But in the end, it didn't matter. After all, who wouldn't be satisfied in his place?
The second thing that made him grin like a fool was his Chakra amount.
If his new memories were correct, his Chakra reserves yesterday were around 500 units—considered average for a Ninja Academy Student. But now, his Chakra had surged like a broken dam, growing to a staggering one hundred times what he originally had.
A total of 50,000 units!!
From what he knew and could infer, such a massive amount of Chakra was typically possessed by a Jōnin! In other words, his Chakra alone already placed him in the ranks of a Jōnin. He understood well that a mere Genin or Chūnin was no match for a true Jōnin.
He also knew that Ninja ranks were determined by skills and achievements, not just by the amount of Chakra one possessed. Still, he couldn't help but feel as though he was on cloud nine—it was far better to have an abundance of Chakra than to struggle with low reserves. There would be no need to worry about running out of Chakra during a battle.
However, that still didn't mean he have unlimited Chakra reserves.
He had to further increase them in the future.
"Well, there's still this..." Yuta muttered quietly as he touched the fire-like birthmark on his left forehead.
Uzuki Yuta, who had enrolled in the Ninja Academy four years ago, had the appearance of a typical background character, the kind who perfectly fit the role of cannon fodder. With shoulder-length lavender hair, grey eyes and a slender build, he barely met the standards of being average. And his birthmark only further detracted from his appearance.
Not that it bothers me much...
Appearance is one of my least concerns.
After all, in a world like this, only those with strength have the right to pursue their dreams...
Who cares about looks when they have power instead?
Pondering the various powerful abilities now imprinted deep in his mind, Yuta touched his forehead and whispered, "Now, how do I switch it off..."
The memories of his body's predecessor, who already knew how to flow his Chakra barely, proved useful at this moment.
After a short while, he successfully reverted his Rinnegan back to his original grey eyes by cutting off the Chakra supply. Since he had only recently received the Rinnegan, his excited and boosted Chakra had automatically and subconsciously been directed to his eyes, keeping the Rinnegan active.
Once he returned to his original look, Uzuki Yuta sat down on the bed, settling his thoughts for the future in light of the sudden changes in his life.
I guess I'm dead on Earth, hm... My parents never really gave a damn about me and the same was for me so it's hard to feel anything at this point... Tch, no need to find a way to go back, I'll stay in this world from now on, I suppose...
Now comes the main issues, how do I go on with my life? Should I act like a background character and stay in the shadows or should I pave my way through to attain Hokage position like Naruto?
Hmm, the latter is a no-go; I ain't some stupid ass...
Let's see, best option should be to act like a fool like Obito(Tobi) and strengthen myself by participating in actual combat experience since I have already enough offensive and defensive abilities through Rinnegan; so instead of wasting time on useless Jutsus, I have to set my priorities learning only best and most useful ones, like perfect my Chakra Control, acquire Body Flicker Technique—Flying Thunder God Technique, if possible, and Shadow Clone Jutsu—not Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu, for staters.
Hm, I also have to get my hands on Sage Mode... Wait, I have Rinnegan but I don't have Uchiha Bloodline, and nor do I have Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan. So is it alright to assume I've sort of Ōtsutsuki Bloodline? If that's so, then when I learn Sage Mode, would I possess Six Paths Senjutsu like Hagoromo? Or is it related to being Ten-tails Jinchūriki?
Hmm... Only time will tell, I guess...
Standing up, he decided to get ready to leave for the Ninja Academy. However, before that, Yuta carefully reviewed how to behave appropriately in front of his family members and others. He had to ensure that he could fool them and avoid raising any suspicion, especially since his elder sister, Uzuki Yugao, would be quick to notice even the smallest changes in his behavior, given how close they were.
So, an inferiority complex and a big pushover when dealing with outsiders, I see. As for his family members, who can be counted on both hands, he's quite frank with them—especially with his sister and drunkard father.
The other members are distant relatives who live separately, with only a few of them being Ninjas, so he barely talks to them.
Hm, the Uzuki family is in decline, it seems... Well, I don't really care. There's only a single Jōnin in this family—Uzuki Yugao, my sister, who is also part of the Anbu. Though no one in the family knows, not even original Yuta.
Anbu members aren't allowed to reveal their identities to others, not even to their family members—that seems to be the foremost rule.
From what I remember, Uzuki Yugao was a young genius, both in Kenjutsu and as a powerful Sensory-type. She was handpicked by the Hokage to join the Anbu team. She worked under Kakashi for some time and, years later, joined Team Ro, which operates directly under the Hokage's command.
Hm, it looks like she isn't home, or else she would have stormed into my room when I screamed earlier... Good.
Once he settled his thoughts, Yuta opened the only wardrobe in his room and picked out some clean clothes to wear. His current clothes were drenched in sweat, and he reeked, so a bath was a must.
As he stepped out of his room, something caught his eye, causing him to pause momentarily. The center of their traditional house held a small, beautiful garden, perfectly shaped into a square. Sunlight filtered through, casting gentle shadows across the vibrant greenery.
The house itself formed a hollow rectangle around this serene space, surprisingly large with numerous empty rooms and a training ground in the back—always available but not regularly used.
Yuta found himself staring at the garden for a moment longer than he intended.
At least we have a decent house... he thought, a wry smile tugging at his lips.
With a quiet sigh, Yuta tore his gaze away and headed toward the bathroom.
Although the house had a traditional design, it was equipped with all the modern amenities: water supply, electricity, gas, a clean toilet, and, most importantly, all the latest electronic gadgets available on the market. As a result, life had been quite comfortable for Uzuki Yuta, as his memories indicated.
The house was his father's property, passed down from his grandfather, and as for the expensive electronic gadgets, they had all been bought by his sister over the years.
Anbu must have a decent income... he joked to himself before entering the bathroom.
A Ninja's earnings, from a simple Genin to an Elite Jōnin, depended on the missions they completed. The same held true for the members of the Anbu. However, he wasn't sure if that rule also applied to those Anbu who served directly under the Hokage. Regardless, money wasn't his concern for now. He needed to become a Genin first in order to take on any missions. For that, he could only wait since the Graduation Exam was still two years away.
After finishing his bath, Yuta emerged wearing a simple V-neck black t-shirt and grey pants. The pants had enough space to hold basic ninja weapons, like a few packs of wire strings and shurikens. If he wanted to carry more, he would need to wear a common ninja pouch on his waist. However, since he was just an Academy student, there was no need for anything beyond a few basic tools.
While moving toward the kitchen to get some breakfast, Yuta tied his shoulder-length hair like Arthur Lewyin's, with a few bangs falling to the side while most of his hair was neatly tied back. The length of his hair was more than enough to pull off the hairstyle.
Snore!
The sound of deep snoring echoed from one of the rooms he just passed.
Right, that must be Uzuki Gato, father of Uzuki Yuta and Yugao—a former Chūnin and now an addicted drunkard...
From the memories he had gained, Yuta could understand the reason behind Uzuki Gato's current state. It was because of his late mother, who had died five years ago due to a severe illness. After that incident, his father retired from being a Ninja and became what he was now.
Just let him be; he's no child. If he's still hung up after five years, there's no way he'd listen to anyone's advice... Yuta thought as he continued to move forward, not paying much attention to the sudden presence of a fatherly figure in this new life.
Arriving at the kitchen, he toasted some bread, warmed a glass of milk, and prepared eggs for his breakfast. The original Yuta would usually only have a glass of milk before leaving, unless his sister was home. However, that wasn't an issue now.
Charvis, in his previous life, was not only a good eater but also had top-level culinary skills, so preparing such a simple breakfast was no problem. Plus, the main reason was that he was hungry.
Growl~!
His stomach had been growling for quite some time since the moment he woke up.
Abnormal...
Is it because of my rise in chakra amount or due to transmigration? I don't know... I have to ease my stomach first...
A few minutes passed as Yuta sifted through all the information the original Yuta had learned during his time at the Ninja Academy.
From the basic principles of being a Ninja to lessons on Chakra theory and even D-rank Ninjutsu, all those memories resurfaced like flashbacks in his mind. As he reviewed them, he noticed that he could easily comprehend the difficult parts that the original Yuta had struggled with. However, most of the time had been wasted sleeping and hanging out with a bunch of losers, so there wasn't much valuable information to gain from these memories.
What a disappointment.
Aiming to become a Ninja yet wasting his time like that... This guy's been leeching off his sister's hard work all this time, huh. No wonder there was no one like him in Naruto—he must have died as a Genin or a Chūnin in some forgotten corner...
Once the breakfast was ready, Yuta cleared his thoughts and savored the delicious meal he had prepared himself. The spices and ingredients from his previous life were still present in this world, so the recipe hadn't changed much—except the taste was even better than he had imagined.
Natural energy has to be behind this, I guess... he thought, before quickly finishing the rest of his meal.
After finishing his chores, he decided to head to the Academy. He wore the black sandals specifically designed for Ninjas to enhance their maneuverability, unlike the ordinary ones civilians wore.
However, just as he was about to leave, the door to his house suddenly slid open.
"Oh, all ready to leave, huh..." came a low-pitched voice from ahead.
There was no need for him to look at the source; he could easily identify the person just from the voice alone.
Standing in front of him was a tall, beautiful girl who appeared to be around twenty. She had straight purple hair cascading down to her waist and a pair of brown eyes as clear as the boundless sky. She was wearing her usual pink top and white pants, looking fabulous as ever.
She was none other than Uzuki Yugao, his older sister.
Did she change from her Anbu uniform at the headquarters? Yuta thought as he greeted her, "Welcome back, Nee-san."
Yugao smiled warmly and patted his head. "You look good with that hairstyle, Yuta..." She said, her eyes beaming with both surprise and delight. "Ah, is it because of a girl? It has to be, right?"
"No way. I just wanted a new hairstyle, you know," Yuta replied honestly.
Dating a girl? There was no way the original Yuta stood a chance to impress anyone. With his average talent, low grades, bad personality, and unremarkable looks, not even an idiotic girl would date a background character like him.
"Hehe, it was just a joke. No need to be so tense," Yugao giggled and gave him a pat on the back before continuing, "Now, hurry up, or you'll be punished for being late..."
"Alright, alright, I'm going," Yuta said, and began to leave.
Yugao smiled and called out cheerfully before Yuta even stepped out of the house, "I'm free today, so remember to hurry back home for your special training classes with your dear sister!"
"Ehh? But we had them last week too..." he replied, his voice tinged with reluctance.
Noticing his usual expression, Yugao narrowed her eyes into crescent shapes and said, "I'll take that as a yes," before heading back inside the house.
"Oh, come on... Not again."
Yuta sighed wearily and quickly left the house.
----
Yugao lay on her bed, naked, and closed her eyes, trying to rest her overworked body.
How could his chakra reserves have increased so much in just a week? He was clearly at the level of a Genin before, but now his reserves are at the level of a Jōnin, almost comparable to mine! How is that even possible? I checked to see if he was a spy transformed into Yuta, but I found no fluctuations in his chakra. And he clearly remembers our training from last week, so... his chakra reserves must have grown like this in just a week?
My dear brother, what are you up to...
Her swirling thoughts kept her awake for a while, but eventually, exhaustion took over, and she fell asleep.
----
On the other side, leisurely making his way through the streets of Konoha, Yuta had a wide grin on his face as he headed toward the Ninja Academy.
That Oscar-winning act should keep me out of any suspicion she might have... he thought. Now I just need to come up with an excuse for my increased chakra reserves... And fortunately, I already have one.
