Preparations!

Sitting on the same rock I first tested out the Chidori on, holding a Katana in my hands.

A standard sized and shaped katana that has a jagged jaw-like pattern that is blue along its blade.

It looked like the wind pillar blade from demon slayer but blue, always loved that sword.

The blade was made from the highest purity chakra metal, how I got the money, you ask? It cost me seven C rank missions, but it was totally worth it, and apparently, the Chakra metal was cheap in Kumo because of the mines.

With a small smirk, I sheathe the blade in the sheath on my waist and looked around, Ever since I finally joined the "Katana squad", learned the lightning armour and got the seal on my hand I have fifteen whole days to think...

The strength of a hundred is not as good as it sounds, the ageing is not a good compromise for fast healing... and I won't need it with my title... probably.

The team was waiting for late sensei. The byakugan was at level 68, it got harder to level up ever since I passed level 50.

I maxed out the lightning manipulation thus getting my chakra control to level 96, having my theory confirmed, mastering the chakra natures give me the remaining levels of the chakra control.

"Guys... wheres our sensei?"

My question caught the other two's attention, but unfortunately, I don't think either of them knew.

"No idea, probably held up by the Raikage..."

Yeah... the exams are in a month, probably discussing it... and here she is.

Just as that thought passed through my head, she flickered in front of us. Since we have been in close proximity to each other for five months, I basically memorized the signatures of my teammates.

"Sorry for being late, The Raikage had something he wanted to discuss."

Samui walked toward us, face still impassive as ever. With a shrug, I jumped down from the rock I was sitting on and stretch out my arms.

Honestly, I was just glad she wasn't three hours late, it was only thirty minutes.

"What held you up, sensei?"

That was Karui, she was standing up from her sitting place, while Omoi was still lying there, looking at her with curiosity.

"Chunin exams are coming up in a month, The Raikage wasn't planning on sending anyone, but you three were chosen to go... Congratulations."

I wish I could say that im surprised, but really, I wasn't, the same couldn't be said about the other two though. Karui was ecstatic while Omoi looked like his gears were turning in his head, he was overthinking everything. Again.

[Bloodlust detected.]

...Oh crap.

"Rai is ready, while you two still need some training. I will bring you up to speed on elemental jutsu while Rai starts training with fire and water jutsu... These next three weeks are going to be hell for you."

Her face grew grim and a menacing aura started surrounding her, finally, her lips twitched upwards, giving us a smile, the giant demon head behind her just took away the pleasantness of it.

Then she looked at me.

"Yugito Nii and Darui will help you since I have a lightning affinity, they should be here soon."

Hm, I should be fine, nothing to worry about, I can learn anything soon enough, they probably aren't teaching me any wind because of my main lightning affinity.

I took some distance from my two teammates and watched as Samui handed them a scroll. Absently looking at my hand, I started wondering about the seal, or more specifically, its name. I want to have the strength of a hundred, the power Tsunade can dish out is too tempting, and the use I can put it to in the war is not something im willing to pass up on.

...The three tails jinchuriki dies at the end of the Kiri civil war too, if the system can seal it inside me, my chakra levels will shoot through the roof, but I don't think it's possible and Kumo doesn't have seal masters...

It's really irritating.

"-id, kid! wake up!"

Napping out of my thoughts I look at the woman in front of me, seeing the familiar face of the one I sit next to in my free time... on a mountain.

"Oh, hey...uh, what's up?"

I heard a snort and looked slightly to the left, Seeing the same man I met when I first visited the Raikage in his office.

"What's up kid?"

kid, huh?

I look up, only to see a clear blue sky.

"Uh, the sky?"

That earned a snort from the two. jeez, that wasn't even funny.

Karui sat down with a plop and Omoi followed, only he dropped his head on the table. Anyone could see that these two were tired... and once they looked at me, everyone would think that im slacking off.

The blonde sat down next to me, her shoulder touching mine. Seriously, girls, these days don't know the definition of personal space.

"So rookie, I heard that Chunin exams are taking place in a month, you participating?"

Jeez, the Anbu sure are informed well.

I grunt in response, Not having anything to say to the girl. I was still planning to get back at her.

I was brought out of my musings when Karui spoke up.

"So... mind introducing us?"

I look over at my two teammates before-

"Yes, I do mind, introduce yourselves... Lazy asses."

I had to duck my head to avoid a slap from pissed off Karui.

"You bastard! The least you can do is introduce your friends to each other!"

I slowly turn my head towards her, she just tried to hit me upside the head... did she really want to lose her hand that badly? I wasn't some crappy OP main character that only got serious during a fight, hit me, I hit back, no matter the gender.

"I am an advocate of true gender equality-"

"What does that have to do with anything?"

"That means that if you hit me, I will hit back, I ain't some sandbag who will take any kind of hits just because the one hitting is of the opposite gender!"
