With Michikatsu diligently attending to the injured Chunin, Nawaki, still fueled by the 'Enhanced Breathing Technique,' continued his unrestrained onslaught. His 'Chakra Enhanced Punches,' backed by incredible speed, enabled him to kill one Iwa Chunin after another with astonishing efficiency. Each strike was delivered with such force that the Chunin barely had time to comprehend their impending doom before being killed by a single devastating punch.
The ferocity of Nawaki's assault left the faces of the remaining three Iwa Jonin marked with deep concern. Their team captain, Gari, had met his end at the hands of Michikatsu, and the Jonin knew that they were no match for Michikatsu's genuine self. Up to this point, their survival had largely depended on evading the relentless strikes of Michikatsu's formidable Shadow Clone, which moved at an incredible speed, leaving them struggling to keep pace.
One of the Iwa Jonin, using a subtle hand gesture, silently communicated his intentions to the others. Recognizing the signal, the remaining Jonin fell into a patient stance, deferring to the lead Jonin to make the next move. They understood that their situation called for a carefully planned strategy to turn the tide in their favor.
The lead Iwa Jonin swiftly executed the 'Earth Release: Earth-Style Wall' jutsu, conjuring a seemingly small barrier. In a split-second decision, the Jonin followed it up with another application of the same jutsu, but this time producing a significantly larger and more formidable earth wall, forming a complete defensive structure. Michikatsu's Shadow Clone, undeterred by the challenge, quickly assessed the situation. With the empowering effects of the 'Lightning Enhanced Mode,' the Shadow Clone materialized right in front of the imposing earth barrier, poised to wield its sword and cleave the obstruction in two.
However, just as the Shadow Clone prepared to execute its slashing maneuver, the small earth wall directly ahead detonated in a sudden burst of power. The explosion rent the diminutive wall into fragments, which hurtled outward with astonishing velocity. These airborne stone fragments found their target in the form of Michikatsu's Shadow Clone, effectively obliterating it. The remaining Iwa Jonin exhibited a similar reflex, promptly retreating from the path of the rapidly incoming projectiles.
The other two Shadow Clones of Michikatsu, exercising their quick judgment, also withdrew cautiously, evading the hail of earth fragments. The origin of the small earth wall's detonation lay in the fact that the Iwa Jonin had strategically attached several Explosive Tags to its surface. The sturdy, larger earth wall beneath served as a robust foundation for the explosive outburst of the smaller wall, ensuring the Jonin's safety from the repercussions of the detonation.
As the earth fragments settled upon the ground, the immediate aftermath of the explosive disturbance rendered an eerie stillness to the battlefield. With the dust and turmoil subsiding, Michikatsu's two surviving Shadow Clones regrouped and wasted no time. They took coordinated action, homing in on the remaining two Iwa Jonin with the intent to challenge them head-on. These Jonin, already poised and ready for the impending clash, anticipated the impending duel.
With a burst of energy, Michikatsu's Shadow Clone launched a lightning-infused sword strike at one of the Jonin. Upon impact, a cascade of sparks erupted from the collision point, radiating an electric aura. However, the intensity of the battle increased rapidly as another presence entered the fray. Unbeknownst to Michikatsu's Shadow Clone, a kunai found its mark, piercing through the Shadow Clone's form. This sudden attack resulted in the Shadow Clone's complete dissolution, vanishing into a dissipating cloud of smoke.
The sequence of events that had unfolded became clear. The Jonin who had initially erected the 'Earth Release: Earth-Style Wall' had not only created a Shadow Clone of himself but also cleverly employed the 'Transformation Technique' to masquerade as an ordinary earthen stone. Positioned strategically amid the fragments of the earth, he was subsequently flung alongside the stone chips ejected during the initial explosion by the Shadow Clone. Amidst the chaos, this Iwa Jonin had seized the opportunity to take decisive action, swiftly eliminating one of Michikatsu's Shadow Clones.
With only a single Shadow Clone of Michikatsu remaining, the balance of power now tilted as the odds stacked against it. The battlefield became the stage for a confrontation between the solitary Shadow Clone and the trio of Jonin from Iwagakure.
In the wake of the resounding clash, the Iwa Jonin, still fully engaged in the battle, did not relent. One of the Jonin, the one whose kunai had initially collided with Michikatsu's Shadow Clone, promptly invoked the 'Earth Release: Earth and Stone Bamboo Shoot' technique. From four distinct directions, sharp, needle-like structures sprang forth with menacing precision. Their aim was clear: to pierce and disable the intangible Shadow Clone of Michikatsu.
However, underestimating the Shadow Clone's swiftness was a costly mistake. Michikatsu's Shadow Clone exhibited a remarkable degree of agility, allowing it to nimbly evade the perilous strikes. As the Shadow Clone effortlessly sidestepped the earthy onslaught, another Jonin, previously locked in combat with this particular clone, seized the moment. With a teleportation technique known as 'Body Flicker Technique,' he materialized beside Michikatsu. This, however, was not the actual Jonin but rather his own Shadow Clone, discreetly infiltrated during the battle.
Upon materializing beside Michikatsu, the Jonin's Shadow Clone detonated in a cataclysmic explosion, having concealed within it a myriad of concealed Explosive Tags. The destructive blast tore through the battlefield, consuming the remaining Shadow Clone of Michikatsu in a tumultuous burst of energy. In the wake of this explosive display, the once-formidable Shadow Clone was no more, vanishing into fragments within a dissipating cloud of smoke.
