As soon as Michikatsu retreated with Nawaki, there was a huge blast. Almost twenty 'Explosive Tags' exploded at the same time.

After Nawaki stabilized himself and stood straight, he had a look of fear on his face. He looked at Michikatsu and said, "Thanks, Michikatsu."

"Wait a minute, what about Matsuda?" asked Nawaki.

"He is safe. Just before the explosion, he used the 'Substitution Technique,' or to be precise, just before you stepped on the trap, he used the 'Substitution Technique.' You know what that means, right?" said Michikatsu.

"You mean to say that Matsuda was aware that there was a trap?" said Nawaki. "No, it can't be. I've known Matsuda for quite a long time."

"If this was not the case, then why didn't he inform us that there was a trap, instead of just using the 'Substitution Technique' to leave?" said Michikatsu.

Just as they were talking, a team of ten people appeared.

"They seem to be members of the Anbu from Sunagakure," said Nawaki looking at their attires carefully.

"So you both survived. Where did that other one go? And shouldn't there be a Jonin leader?" said the captain of the Anbu.

"You don't have to search for them. Both of them ran away, or maybe they are watching from somewhere, hiding," said Michikatsu.

"You are quite confident and calm for someone who is going to die, kid," said the Captain.

The Captain, being an Anbu ninja, didn't waste much time on the talk and used 'Wind Release: Air Bullets'. Seeing this wind release coming in his direction, Michikatsu used 'Thunder Breathing Second Form: Rice Spirit', and released five arched thunder slashes but this was different Michikatsu just used the same swordsmanship technique but he used Chakra to create thunder slashes.

Both jutsus collided with each other, and after their collision, a significant amount of dust appeared, causing a massive dust cloud that obscured the vision on both sides.

As soon as the dust lessened a bit, the captain of the Anbu appeared in front of Michikatsu with incredible speed. Before Michikatsu could even react, the captain of the Anbu pierced his heart with a short sword.

"You are not returning alive today," said the captain of the Anbu.

"Really?" said Michikatsu with a smile and grabbed the captain's hand. The falling blood from his chest took the form of needles and pierced the captain's hand.

The captain was surprised by this because they had no information about Michikatsu having such an ability. The captain used his strength to break free from Michikatsu's grasp and returned to where his team was.

Although he was able to escape, Michikatsu's blood was so poisonous that the captain's hand started turning black from the poison.

"Captain, you are poisoned. Here, take the antidote for the poison," said one of the Chunin while handing him a vial.

The captain nodded and took the vial from the Chunin's hand, then drank its contents. After a few seconds, he said, "As expected, this poison is different. I, as the captain of the Anbu, have been trained in a way that makes me immune to most poisons. However, this poison was still able to affect me. This means only one thing: this poison is not simple, and it originates from his blood. So, I doubt that any kind of antidote will work on this poison," said the Anbu.

"Then what are you going to do, Captain? If we don't do something about this, you may die from it," said the Chunin.

The Anbu captain made a decisive decision and immediately severed his right hand.

One of the Chunin knew a healing technique, so he started healing the captain.

Just as the captain was having a conversation and dealing with Michikatsu's poison, a Chunin approached Nawaki, who was alert and watching Michikatsu's battle.

"What was that? How did Michikatsu do this? And he doesn't seem to be affected by his heart getting pierced," thought Nawaki after witnessing Michikatsu's ability to control blood.

Nawaki carefully examined the team of Sunagakure Anbu and noticed one Chunin was missing. He muttered, "Where did that Chunin go? I must stay alert."

"Behind you," a voice came from behind Nawaki.

Nawaki exclaimed, "What!?" and immediately turned around, making a piercing motion with his kunai, but he struck empty air.

The Chunin appeared on the backside of Nawaki and attempted a slashing motion with his sword to end Nawaki's life in one fell swoop, but at that very moment, he froze in place.

The Chunin came to his senses and said in shock, "When did these strings appear here?"

Nawaki turned around and saw the Chunin stuck in place by thin and invisible strings. "It's Michikatsu; he saved me again. Today, I was saved by him twice."

"No, I can't fall behind Michikatsu," said Nawaki with determination, and with his kunai, he ended the life of the Chunin in front of him.

Nawaki refocused on the Sunagakure Anbu team and noticed a Special Jonin approaching in his direction.

Nawaki, seeing this, attacked using 'Water Release: Wild Water Wave'.

The Special Jonin used 'Earth Release: Earth-Style Wall'.

Just as Nawaki was waiting for the Special Jonin to appear from behind the mud wall, he suddenly felt something and jumped forward. Just as he jumped forward, the Special Jonin had used 'Earth Release: Hiding Like a Mole Technique' to appear behind Nawaki.

"Quite keen senses for a Genin," said the Special Jonin standing on the ground.

"But no one can save you now as you are this close to me," said the Special Jonin, and with incredible speed, he appeared in front of Nawaki. But at this moment, a voice called out, 'Moon Breathing Second Form: Pearl Flower Moongazing', and a multitude of crescent moon blades attacked the Special Jonin from different directions, forcing him to abandon his attack on Nawaki and defend himself.

Soon, the Special Jonin was submerged in the flurry of crescent moon blades. When the dust settled, there was a lifeless body of the Special Jonin on the ground. However, this lifeless body of the Special Jonin turned into a wooden log with a cloud of smoke.

This Special Jonin appeared beside another Special Jonin who was about to attack Michikatsu.
