C-Rank Mission

"Go," Kakashi said as Naruto and Sakura jumped into a bush.

"Nyaaaaaa." a loud noise was heard.

"Gotcha," Naruto said as he held an ugly cat in his hand.

"Ribbion on the left ear. Yes. This is Tora all right." Tendou said as he took a glance at the cat that Naruto was holding.

"Good. Lost pet "Tora" search mission complete." Kakashi said as he slowly walked towards the three.

A few minutes later.

"Nyaaaaaaa." The cat was being held by an ugly fat woman whose face was full of makeup.

"Oh, my cute little Tora Chan. I was so worried." The woman said.

No wonder it runs away. Sakura thought as she looked at the ugly woman who seemed to be obvious that she was crushing the cat in her hand.

"Now. Team 7 next mission is to babysit an elder's grandson in the neighbour's village and help with the potato Digging." an old man who was wearing the hat with the kanji for fire said as he looked at the paper that was in his hand.

"No! No! No! No, thank you." Naruto yelled out.

"I want a more incredible mission. Find us a better one." Naruto said.

"I agree. Things are getting a little boring." Tendou also said.

"Sigh." Kakashi sighed.

"You idiot. You are just a rookie. Everyone starts out with simple duties and has to work their way up." Iruka who was near the fire hat guy yelled at Naruto.

"But we keep getting the crappiest one possible," Naruto yelled back.

"Be quiet you," Kakashi said as he hit Naruto in the head.

"You guys just recently became Genin. D-rank missions are perfect for you." the fire hat guy said.

"Geez. All you do is give lectures. But you know I am not the troublemaking brat you think I am." Naruto said.

"Ok. If you want it that much I will give you a C-Rank mission. The protection of a certain individual" the fire hat guy said.

"Really. Who is it? A Federal lord. A princess." Naruto asked.

"Calm down I will introduce him." The fire hat guy said.

The door to the office that they were in was opened.

An old man who was carrying a bottle of what appeared to be alcohol walked in.

"Are you sure those are ninjas? They looked like brats." The man said.

He was an expert builder called Tuzuna.

The next day.

"Let's go," Naruto said.

"Why are you so excited?" Sakura asked.

"Cause I have never left the village before," Naruto said.

"Hey, am I going yo safe with this brat?" The builder asked as he pointed at Naruto.

"Haha. I am a Jonin, so don't worry." Kakashi said.

"Hey, old man. Don't mess with ninjas. I am incredible. One day I will take on the title of the Hokage. Remember the name. Uzumaki Naruto." Naruto said.

Tendou clapped.

"Hey. You are awfully quiet. What's wrong?" Sakura asked.

"Well, I am just looking at really interesting people," Tendou said as he smiled.

"Wait. Really." Sakura was shocked when she heard him say that but after looking at his face she immediately thought that he was simply saying nonsense.

After all who would believe someone who is wearing a headband as an eye cover could notice things that even your teacher was not able to notice?

If he was Sasuke however she would have believed him.

The group continued to walk.

"Tuzuna san?" Sakura called out.

"What?" the builder replied.

"You come from the land of waves, right?" Sakura asked.

"What of it?" The builder said in an irritated tone.

"Kakashi sensei. Are there ninjas in that country too?" Sakura asked.

"No. Not in the wave country. But in most other countries..... The culture and customs may be different but hidden villages exist. And so do the ninjas." Kakashi replied.

"So who is the strongest among them all?" Tendou asked.

"Well. Strongest. Although strongest is not their official title, I guess the Five Kages." Kakashi replied in an unsure manner.

"Five Kages?" Sakura questioned.

"Hokage, Mizukage, Raikage, Kazekage and Tsichikage are called the five kage. And they rein over thousands of ninjas around the world." Kakashi said.

"So that Fire hat old man is that strong huh?" Tendou said.

"He didn't look really interesting though. He looked like an old man who is just slightly stronger than you, Kakashi sensei." Tendou said while smiling.

"Hey, why do you always sound so weird and arrogant?" Sakura said.

"Well, it's just the way he is," Kakashi said while smiling.

"Ha. They are laughing at you." Naruto said while laughing.

"It seems that way." Tendou smiled.
