Chapter 14: Mission

Awakening early that day, Adrian did small exercises to prepare himself for the day.

After around 30 minutes of doing them, he took a shower as he prepared to start the mission for today.

Coming out of his room, he saw Kain already prepared and about to leave to go to the Uchiha Clan's reception hall.

He joined him as the two made small talk along the way.

"Aren't you nervous since this is your first mission?" questioned Kain with a raised eyebrow.

While most of the group with them aren't experiencing their first mission, a few of them are, and even they are nervous and a bit scared as well. So seeing Adrian practically hold little to no fear is a bit of a surprise to him.

"There is nothing to be afraid of if you go in with the mindset that you're going to do all that you can to not die." said Adrian while smiling.

While he may have been nervous when he first heard about going on the mission, he truly felt that he would do all that he could to survive it. He had both his parents waiting on him to return home and he would do everthing he can to make sure that happens.

The two continued to talk until they finally made it to the hall. They join the group of people from the Hagoromo clan, as the group from the Uchiha Clan sits right beside them.

Tajima stands upon the stage as he begins to talk.

"This is the beginning of a mission that was specifically built to let the younger generation experience the danger of the Shinobi World as well as to strengthen the ties between the Uchiha clan and the Hagoromo clan. In dangerous times such as these, "allies" is one few words that is rarely spoken when describing another clan. On this mission, some of you may die. Some of you may not wish to be shinobi anymore after this mission. But no matter what you decide, the Uchiha and Hagoromo clans will continue to be there to aid each other in their times of need for a long time to come."

As he finished speaking he signalled to the crowd for the squad leaders of both groups to come up.

Adrian came up to the stage, but was surprised by the fact that Madara was the one to come up for the Uchiha group.

"These two will be the squad leaders of both your respective groups. You are to listen to their every order as if it was given from your Patriarch." Tajima said to the crowd, referring to Madara and Adrian.

"You two have the most responsibility out of everyone here, it will be up to you two to not only do your best to complete the mission but also ensure that it is done in a timely manner. You both must work together if you wish to complete this mission, as no one knows what kind of danger you may come across in this mission." Tajima told them both so that they may understand the danger of this mission, as they are not only responsible for there lives but all those that they are leading lives aswell.

They both nodded as they truly felt they were ready for the dangers that this mission would throw at them. Also, seeing that their friend was the squad leader from the Hagoromo Clan would make it easier for the two to work together.

Seeing that they had the resolve, Tajima then told them "Then go and complete this mission. Showcase the glory of our two clans!"

The groups then departed while Tajima stood at the gates smiling thinking of the future generation.
