Chapter 108: Chaos  

Guy was caught by a strong suction force, and Pain took out a black rod with his other hand, intending to pierce his body.

But Guy was not surprised. "Konoha Rising Rock," he shouted, aiming to exchange injuries for injuries.

However, Guy was destined to be disappointed. The sharp black rod pierced his body, and even though Guy's kick struck Pain's neck hard, it had no effect.

Bleeding from his lower abdomen, Guy pulled away, looking at Pain with a serious expression. He was sure he had landed his kick accurately, Pain's neck had deformed significantly upon impact.

No matter how powerful he was, it was impossible for him to be unscathed—unless he wasn't human.

Realizing this, Guy smiled optimistically. "It's too naive to deal with you using methods for ordinary ninjas. But the flame of youth will not be extinguished. Eight Gates Armor, Peacock."

Guy's hands moved like phantoms, delivering rapid punches. His fists rubbed against the air, generating flames that attacked Pain like a peacock spreading its tail.

Pain dodged or deflected the flames while keeping an eye on Guy's movements and calling the Six Paths for assistance. He needed to deal with Guy quickly to resume his search for the Nine-Tails.

The flames spread around Pain, and just as he used Shinra Tensei to repel them, Guy had already moved to his side at high speed. "It seems you look down on taijutsu users."

Pain indeed looked down on physical ninjas, or rather, he, who possessed the Rinnegan, looked down on all ninjas.

Even Uchiha Sasuke, who had once defeated him, was not acknowledged by Pain as stronger. The power of the Rinnegan made him feel superior.

"Ultimate Lotus," Guy declared. This powerful move required significant physical strength and left him exhausted afterward.

However, Guy's endurance was exceptional. A thin white belt hidden in his clothes wrapped around Pain, and with an explosion, a massive crater appeared in the ground.

Coughing, Guy emerged from the pit. He didn't expect the move to defeat Pain but hoped it would at least injure him.

Pain, however, climbed out unscathed, dusting himself off. The Hell Path and Asura Path joined him.

"Konoha's ninja, you performed well, but your purity is too low. You are very good, close to Kage level, but in front of me, you are not even close to a true Kage," Pain said arrogantly.

Feeling satisfied with his performance, Pain crossed his arms.

However, Guy smiled. "Don't celebrate too soon. Although I'm not the Hokage, I will never give up easily. Giving up is not my motto. Seventh Gate of Shock, Open!" Chakra surged, several times stronger than before, and Guy took the lead.

Outside Konoha Village, Sasuke and others arrived riding on Manda, who was nearly exhausted from the long journey.

"Manda, you've worked hard," Sasuke praised.

This dedicated summoning beast was a model for all others. Manda turned into smoke and disappeared, relieved but also haunted by nightmares of Sasuke's cruelty.

Sasuke looked at the black smoke and flames above Konoha.

"It seems Pain has taken action. Kakashi, aren't you sad to see this?" Kabuto said, but Kakashi's face remained cold.

"It's ridiculous. What does the life and death of Konoha have to do with me? Kabuto, I want to kill you more. I heard you have mastered the sacred arts of Ryuchi Cave," Kakashi replied, licking his lips evilly.

Kabuto knew Kakashi was serious and stopped teasing. He was more perverted than Kimimaro, who at least could distinguish between enemies and friends.

Kakashi, however, would attack anyone, even Sasuke, when crazed. Wearing black tights, his mask discarded, a black rune was visible on his face, indicating his activation of dark abilities.

"Follow Kakashi into the village and kill those who should be killed," Sasuke ordered.

Kakashi knew Konoha well, unlike Kisame, who, despite his efficiency, was unfamiliar with the area. Sasuke wanted to ensure all targets were eliminated.

Due to the commotion Pain caused, only a few guards were at the gate. They recognized Kakashi immediately.

"Lord Kakashi," one said, but before he could finish, the ninja fell, the smell of blood filling the air as black lightning flashed.

"Sbarasi," Kakashi chuckled.

"I didn't expect your blood to be so delicious." The killing began. As Kakashi acted, Kimimaro joined, and they fought their way in.

"These two guys," Kabuto muttered, adjusting his glasses. Sasuke walked towards the deep forest, looked back at Kabuto, and said

"Don't suppress your nature, Kabuto. You haven't seen blood for a long time." Kabuto nodded, "I will obey your command."

After sending them away, Sasuke moved towards Nagato. "This is my last chance for you, Nagato. If you don't know what's good for you, I will send you to meet Yahiko."
