the begining of the trails

I had arrived back at the house and entered and saw a baboon who I handed a Dorito and he left me alone.

I felt something big and dangerous coming so I stood in Infront of the house with my knives.

I saw two long necks and I ran under them and began slashing at one's stomach, and while I slashed I placed a seal to stop their healing.

once the seal was placed killing them was as simple as intertwining their necks together and cutting them off.

once I did that I dusted my hand and told Carter and Sadie "let's move".

I then looked at the cat and said "And you return to you... other form"

the cat hissed and me and I growled at her before rubbing the back of my neck.

"stupid demigods and..." the cat said as she transformed into a woman.

"now then... bast where to?" I asked as I upgraded the defenses on the house.

"I got it," Sadie said proudly.

I tilted my head and looked at her with a confused expression.

"your a wolf and she's a cat so you growling was you showing affection," she said as she got weird looks from everyone.

"...no I was just... letting my instincts take over... we are wasting time what do we do now for this "quest," I asked Bast.

in no time at all we were running through Manhattan.

"I fought here before," I said as we ran.

"you told me about that," Sadie said.

"I also took his scythe... anyways cat goddess where are we taking the Kane siblings," I asked our resident cat goddess.

"the obelisk," she said.

"it doesn't matter how far you guys go, I'll find you... I'll stay behind and delay the hunters that are after us" I said as I stopped running.

"what do-" Carter began saying as I teleported them to the obelisk.

"... so what are you guys..." I said before I honestly didn't care and sent them to wherever the hell they went when they died.

I used FTG and appeared by Carter who was in a protective barrier. when I appeared behind him he almost jumped out of the circle.

I pulled him back in and looked up and saw the scorpion goddess.

I put my hand on Sadies shoulder and pumped chakra into her. "continue what you're doing... you're using others' magic power and not yours... I'm lending you mine."

"he's right," a tiny voice in Sadies head said.

"oh God I'm going crazy," Sadie said.

I walked out of the protective circle. *fire-style fireball jutsu*

I expelled flames from my mouth and burnt all the scorpions in the path

"Sadie please hurry up. I can kill this god but my reputation would definitely go down" I said casually dodging the scorpion goddess tail.

I opened my hand and seals appeared and restrained the goddess and I walked up to her.

"...begone" I used the palm of my hand to expel the goddess from her host.

once that happened I looked at the girl named Zia... "you have... an enormous amount of sun energy" was all I said.

I felt the chakra I gave Sadie be used up as the obelisk opened.

"fucking hate sand," I said walking through it.

I began coughing out the sand that entered my mouth and hair.

...(pov scath)

...trouble... that's what this red hair boy was. everywhere he went, trouble seemed to follow him. with my spear, he could have solved all his problems but he doesn't.

I know he can kill since he was fighting me with the intent to kill, and he has killed other... "Shinobi" as they call him.

he seemed to enjoy the thrill of battle constantly seeking out a fight... either that or ramen. I suppose he was alright.

what really made him terrifying was his combat ability. he soaked up knowledge like a sponge and he could recite it word for word after hearing it once.

does that mean he understands it? oh definitely not, just watching his confused face was... amusing to her.

although he surely had his moments of brilliance, or maybe it was something different... I'll have to check that out later.

she sometimes left because she found traces of being that were far above Naruto's level.

although given Naruto's growth it should take him a couple of months to be able to battle them.

...huh an interesting idea I may have to implement.

while close-quarter combat is where he excels, magic is where his genius really shows. well that and planning ahead.

when you have Naruto as an opponent you have to be on your toes constantly. his plans have backup plans, and his backup plans have even more backup plans.

if it wasn't for her being used to combat and can read his mind she might have actually fallen for it.

his eyes are the only thing giving him away though. his eyes showed where he would attack next... or maybe it was his hormones.

I will have to test that theory later but for now, I will watch him from afar as he followed the Egyptian goddess.

...I will also raid the stores to stock up on our soda supply.
