Chapter 1

Marvel 616, The Dark Dimension

"I've got to say, Uncle. I'm somewhat impressed," Kiara said, placing her arms behind her back as both she and her mother listened to Dormammu's plans for conquest. She was dressed in a red corset with long tails and silver fasteners over a short black ruffled skirt and separate loose black sleeves embellished with rose decorations on the upper arms. She also wears black stockings, red high-heeled shoes and leg accessories styled to look like a pair of roses wrapped around her ankles.

"I have to agree with my daughter," Umar said with a chuckle which annoyed Dormammu. "It's quite hard to believe Dormammu, that your plan actually worked as intended."

"Doubts, Doubts. Always doubts, Umar and Kiara," Dormammu said, raising his arms in the air and revealing the army of demons he had prepared. "It's amazing I ever amounted to anything, considering how little Faith my own family has in me."

"Good grief, here we go again..." Kiara mumbled to herself. She didn't want to listen to one of her uncle's speeches.

"No matter what I do...How many Dimensions I conquer... It's never good enough! It's-" Dormammu said before being interrupted.

"Please, dear brother. Let's not go through all that again," Umar said with a sigh. "We're simply saying that we're both surprised Doctor Strange took Nightmare at his word."

"If you'd think about it, dear sister and niece...And I know how difficult that is for the both of you..." Dormammu said mockingly. "...You'd realize that there's NO REASON for Strange to doubt Nightmare. After all, his story is true...and that's the beauty of it," Dormammu added with a smirk. "By forbidding entry into the dream state...and making my invasion plans public. I knew it was only a matter of time before Nightmare flew into the Good Doctor's arms. A stroke of Genius, if I must say so myself."

"*Sigh* I suppose you must," Umar said with an amused smirk which has Kiara laughing.

"A problem, Kiara...Umar...?" Dormammu asked suspiciously.

"I do have a small question, Dormammu," Umar said. "Regarding the wisdom of drawing your greatest enemy here."

"I draw him here, sister...TO DIE!" Dormammu yelled as his voice shook the entirety of the Dark Dimension.(Which is fucking large, several universes large.)

"Oh, I see. You plan to utterly destroy him, yes..." Umar said.

"Exactly," Dormammu said.

"Yeah, just as you have destroyed him so many times before, Uncle..." Kiara said sarcastically.

"Sarcasm, Dear?" Dormammu asked.

"Why, yes, How perceptive of you to notice," Umar answered. "Plus, considering how many times Strange has defeated and humiliated you. One would think that you'd want to take him by surprise."

"He has only beaten me in the past through TRICKERY!" Dormammu yelled, defending his reasons for losing.

"Wow, who would have guessed a magician would use tricks?" Kiara asked.

"Don't you two understand? I do not face him alone this time!" Dormammu said before putting his arms on his sister's and niece's shoulders. "This time! We are together...Brother, Sister, and Niece...United...As Never Before!"

"Do you mind?" Umar asked.

"What?" Dormammu asked confused.

"Hands..." Umar answered as Dormammu carefully removed his hands from both Umar and Kiara.

"You're just like Mother! Cold! Unfeeling!" Dormammu said. "And you passed it down to your daughter."

"Please, not another word about your deprived childhood," Umar said, rolling her eyes. "Next you'll be telling me that I was Father's favorite."

"Well...You were!" Dormammu pointed out.

"Can we go past the family squabble?" Kiara asked.

"Yes, I'm quite sick of hearing about it. Now back to Strange..." Umar said, looking at Dormammu. "...I do think that together...and with this Pan-Dimensional army at our command. We should be able to annihilate him once and for all."

"You really think so?" Kiara asked.

"Yes, daughter. It could work..." Umar answered.

"Yes, Yes. That's exactly what I've been saying! There's been a shift in the Cosmic Axis! The very laws of the Multiverse are evaporating between our eyes!" Dormammu explained to the two females with him. "What once seemed impossible...Is now WITHIN OUT GRASPS!"

"So the astrologers keep telling you. And you know how I feel about astrology," Umar said before heading to her and her daughter's chambers. "Come daughter, let's go."

"Once...Just Once. I would like you two to believe in me! To trust in Dormammu's vision!" Dormammu yelled with a look of despair on his face.

"Oh calm down, Uncle? You've always been such a Hothead!" Kiara said.

"Endless world tremble at the very mention of my name...Yet you two continue to Mock and Belittle me!" Dormammu yelled in anger but mostly in annoyance.

"Somebody has to," Umar retorted.

"Only until The Earth is mine. Dear Sister and Niece," Dormammu said before firing out a blast of energy from his hands, killing some of his soldiers. "Not an instant longer!

Marvel 616, Sanctum Sanctorum, Earth

"Fatous Miscreant!" Namor yelled, staring at the alter-ego of The Hulk, Bruce Banner.

"Stick it up your Gill!" Bruce retorted.

"You dare speak that way to a crown prince!?" Namor asked.

"Oh gosh, excuse me! What I mean was..." Bruce said sarcastically. "...Stick it up you gill, your majesty!"

"If I may say so, Stephen...This was an extremely bad idea," Wong said, looking at Dr. Stephen Strange as they both looked on at Bruce and Namor arguing.

"It was necessary..." Strange said with a sigh.

Dr. Stephen Strange

"Are you certain? Nightmare isn't exactly known for his impeccable honesty..." Wong said.

"I consulted both the Eye of Agamotto and The Cauldron of The Cosmos. The threat is genuine," Dr. Strange said with a frown on his face.

"From Dormammu...Or from those three?" Wong asked.

"You know? I've been meaning to ask you...Did you ever actually find Nemo...Or are you still looking?" bruce asked as Namor walked toward him with a frown.

"If I knew what that meant, I would kill you where you stand!" Namor said as both Wong and Strange watched the interaction.

"Couldn't you have contacted The Silver Surfer?" Wong asked.

"I did..." Strange answered quickly, a bit too quickly.

"And...?" Wong asked suspiciously.

"I don't want to talk about it..." Strange answered with a straight face.

"What about Devil-Slayer, Damon Hellstrom...Even the gargoyle would be an improvement," Wong suggested.

"Unfortunately, the guidance I received in my meditations was very clear..." Strange said, turning down Wong's suggestions as much as it pained him to do so. "Namor and Banner are the allies I require in this crisis."

"My condolences..." Wong said with a nod.

"A whip and a chair would be more helpful," Strange said, looking at both Banner and Namor arguing.

"...Wings on the feet are trifle fey, don't you think?" Bruce asked, looking at the wings on Namor's feet. "Or don't you know what that means, either?"

"Quiet!" Strange yelled.

"I understand your slur full well..." Namor answered.

"QUIET!" Strange yelled again and was once again ignored. It's like people forget he is the sorcerer supreme or something.

"...And any man...even a myopic baboon such as yourself. Who impugns Namor's Manhood must pay the-" Namor said.

"SHUT UP!" Strange yelled once more, breaking the two from their arguing.

"Did you hear him, Banner?" Namor asked, looking down on Bruce."Even the magical finds your insolence intolerable."

"'Scuse me, your lowness...But I think he was talking to you," Bruce said.

"I was speaking to both of you. We are faced with a crisis that could destroy all we know..." Strange said. "...And we cannot waste any more time on this infantile bickering."

"Hear that, Namor? He called you infantile," Bruce said with a mocking laugh.

"I'm not the one who throws a temper tantrum and speaks in one-syllable words," Namor said. "Or does 'Hulk Smash' not sound familiar to you?"

"Enough!" Strange said.

"I'll say it's enough. Point me towards the Door, Stephen," Bruce said before pointing to Namor. "Cause if I spend another minute with the Little Mermaid here. I'm gonna go nuts."

"At last, we are in agreement. For I find Banner's presence intolerable and will endure it no lo..." Namor said before recalling something. "Did you just call me 'The Little Mermaid'?"

"If the fin fits..." Bruce said before getting hit aside and crashing into a table.

"Seriously?" Strange asked as he noticed Bruce getting back up and slowly turning green.

"Not...a...GOOD...IDEA!" Bruce said, turning into the Jolly Green Giant, known as the Incredible Hulk.

"Isn't that what I just said?" Wong asked, rubbing his temple in annoyance. Repairs are gonna be expensive again.

"If it's battle you want...So be it!" Namor yelled, preparing to fight The Hulk.

"Would 'Gentlemen Restrain yourselves' Have any effect...?" Strange asked and got a roar from the Hulk. "No, I suppose not."

Before the fight could happen, the trio of Strange, Hulk, and Namor suddenly disappeared from the room, leaving Wong confused about what just happened.

Random Location, The Dark Dimension

"Whoops..." Strange said, noting their new surrounding and Hulk trapped in some mystic barrier alongside some rock-like cyclopean creatures.

"Excuse me?" Namor asked, staring at Strange and wondering about their current situation.

"What I meant to say is...ah..." Strange muttered as Hulk began doing what he did best and smashed against the barrier. Surprisingly, it didn't shatter against his strength. "...Shades of Seraphim! The barrier built to contain the Mindless Ones has shifted since I last visited this realm."

"Meaning...?" Namor asked.

"I seem to have made a slight...error in our coordinates..." Strange answered.

"Meaning...?" Namor asked again.

"The Hulk is materialized on the other side of the barrier! Those Hate-Filled creatures could destroy even him!" Strange exclaimed, knowing the severity of the situation.

"Oh, how delightful. Can we leave him there?" Namor asked with a shrug.

"NO!" Strange answered.

"Well...At least keep him there until you explain where we are..." Namor suggested. "...And why you pulled reality from under us? Without any warning!"

"It seemed the best way to alleviate the situation...And get us here without further arguments..." Strange said.

"Here being?" Namor asked.

"The Domain of The Dreaded Dormammu, of course," Strange said seriously before sighing. 'At least we didn't end up in his niece's domain. A realm filled with lust and perversions from man's worst memories.'

"Of course. How foolish of me not to have realized it!" Namor said sarcastically. "Well then. Go ahead...mutter some absurd incantation and transport him out of there."

"The barrier was created by Dormammu to prevent the Mindless Ones from over-running his Domain," Strange said. "...And only he can break his binding spell."

"Not off to an auspicious start, are we?" Namor asked. "Perhaps you should have considered recruiting the Silver Surfer, instead of the lumbering heap of green sewage. His cosmic power would certainly-"

"I did contact the Surfer..." Strange said.

"And...?" Namor asked as Strange cringed, remembering what happened.

Earlier, In Long Beach

"I am sorry Strange...But The Silver Surfer must follow the call of his heart," The Silver Surfer said, standing on a beach while talking to the astral projection of Dr. Strange. "And that profound call has led me here!"

"Surfs up!" A blonde woman in a bikini yelled.

"Yo, shiny dude! Hang Ten!" A man said, running toward the water with a surfboard.

"These beings! They too ride the board! Of all the souls I have encountered upon this madly-spinning sphere called Earth," Silver Surfer said, pointing to the numerous people with surfboards on the beach.

"Here?" Strange asked,

"Don't you see?" Silver surfer asked.

"Frankly...no," Strange answered.

"These sun-bronzed creatures seem most like me!" Silver Surfer pointed out. "No longer does the Surfer feel alone in the vast, cold universe!"

"COWABUNGA!"

"But they speak a curious language that baffles even one who has transverse a thousand worlds, universes, and multiverses!" Silver Surfer stated. "It is an ever-deepening mystery...echoing the mystery of creation itself...And I must penetrate it!"

Present

"Dr. Strange?" Namor called, noticing the good doctor zoning out.

"I really don't want to talk about it..." Strange said before feeling something powerful. "Wait! Do you feel that!?"

"Feel what?" Namor asked.

"A vibration in the ethers. A subtle shifting of energy and consciousness!" Strange explained.

"As if a door between space and time suddenly opened...and then closed again?" Namor asked.

"Then you do feel it!" Strange exclaimed, happy he didn't have to explain.

"No, actually, I was just making an educated guess..." Namor said as Strange sighed in response. "But I suspect it means that Dormammu is already aware of our presence in his realm...And that he has mystically teleporter his army here. To destroy us."

"Another educated guess?" Strange asked.

"Not exactly..." Namor said as a portal opened up revealing Dormammu's army.
