Chapter 65: Cheon Mujin's Art of War (1)

Wulin Alliance POV:

It was the semi-annually meeting of the Wulin Alliance where all the heads of the influential orthodox family gathered to discuss matters of great importance for the Forces of Justice.

However there was a grim atmosphere that was hung on everyone.

"This…. This is unprecedented." Yi Mok, the leader of the alliance muttered as he looked at the paper in front of him.

"A declaration of war…" He slumped down on his chair.

"Great Leader! What should we do?" Asked () with anger and fear, but mostly fear. The Forces of Justice always looks like they are the pillar of righteousness when in fact they are a bunch of narcissistic egotistical people.

They are a bunch of hypocrites who would critizise the wrong when they too are one of them.

They pose themselves as this all mighty people who are god amongst men, they even publicly state that they could defeat the Sky Demon Order at any time.

They always claim it. They always said that the Forces of evil and the Demon Cult is nothing but a gathering of weak men that they could defeat at any time but when in fact they are the one who is scared of the Demon Cult.

They do it because they know the Demon Cult won't beat their fangs at them openly to maintain peace but now that the Demon Cult had enough and declared war, they are shitting themselves.

"Wudang's Elder, what do you think?" Asked Yi Mok.

"Their new leader is an aggressive man. I know he will not compromise. It is our fault too. We have criticized them openly and now they have had enough. Perhaps we should negotiate even if the success of term is slim."

"What are you doing Wudang's Elder! What weak words are you saying! We the Peng Family do not fear no demon. As you should too as the Leader of Wudang.. If it's war they want, then we'll give them war!" The Peng Family Patriarch said in a roar.

"Perhaps that choice of word is too narrow-minded Peng Patriarch. It is the demon cult we are talking about. Have you not seen the sheer number of their force?"

"What? We have numbers too!"

"Yes but we are divided! We have clans with individual interest, while they are all one united under one banner. They have changed their ways and now they claim their Lord as a god to command them under one leader. They are united more than ever. We stand no chance."

"Great Leader Yi Mok, what do we do?"

"There's nothing we could do but prepare for war."

"Those damn fanatics finally lost it." The Leader of the Dang Sect Leader muttered.

You see, Cheon Mujin only declared war on the Wulin Alliance which brought confusion to the other two forces, namely Ming Dynasty and Forces of Evil.

Usually when the Sky Demon Order wages war or skirmishes they always attack the Forces of Evil and Justice at the same time while informing the Ming Dynasty.

This is unusual since this time Cheon Mujin only declared war against the Wulin Alliance.

In front of Cheon Mujin were the six guardians of allegiance.

As always the Supreme Sovereign always has a dramatic flair. If Cheon Yeowun has Six Swords; well three right now since Cheon Mujin killed the other three, then he has the Six Guardian of Allegiance. Namely, Seob Meng, Lee Hameng, Marakyum, Dan Jucheon, Wang Jing, and Mun Ran Ryeong.

Each of them has reached a level of martial arts that people only dreamt of due to Cheon Mujin's help. And due to that all of them have absolute loyalty towards him.

"Your divinity, what is your verdict?" Dan Jucheon asked with deep reverence in his voice.

We will explore Dan Jucheon's story later but just know that he is the absolute ruler of North Ice Palace. And Cheon Mujin made it so.

"I have gathered all of you here to give you all your role for the war." The godly being on the throne said. At those words everybody stiffened and their alertness surged.

They were ready for this war. Cheon Mujin have already informed them of this months ago after their recruitment. This was the reason why their Lord helped them become supreme masters. Their one purpose being; an absolute killing machine within the battlefield.

"Today I shall appoint each of you the rank of Supreme Commander of my great army."

At those words everyone's heart swelled up. It was such a grand name for a military position, and they know its position and power of this lives up to its grandiose title. It was like Cheon Mujin keep on giving them gifts and power. They knew that those things come with a price but it's just so… so addictive.

After the new military system of the cult was implemented only the position of Supreme Commander was left out, and it seems that this was its purpose.

"Left Guardian Lee Hameng and Right Guardian Seob Meng!" With his powerful voice that was inherently infused with force qi, Cheon Mujin called out.

"Yes your divinity!" Hearing his voice the two guardians straightened up their backs and responded with vigor.

"You two will be appointed as the Supreme Commander of the Eastern Army." He pointed at the two and levitated two name plaque at them.

"Great Guardian Marakyum!" He called once again and the guardian clad in dark cloth wearing a mask with a strange pattern responded.

"You will be the Supreme Commander of the Western Army." He passed another plaque once again using telekinesis.

"Dual Sword Guardian Wang Jing!" The buff man with two giant greatswords within his back heard tge voice and lowered his head.

"You shall be the Supreme Commander of the Southern Army!" Cheon Mujin threw another name plaque again.

"And last! Ice Guardian Dan Jucheon and Qilin Flame Guardian Mun Ran Ryeong!!" As for the last Cheon Mujin called out and the two opposing element elder stiffened from his powerful voice.

"You two shall be the Supreme Commander of the Northern Army!"

"We humble and honorably accept this responsibility my Supreme Sovereign!" All of them said in unison as they all knelt and slam their heads to the ground.

"Under the Sovereign's Reign, Unity Prevails, Glory Unveils!"
