"I really appreciate everyone's presence here despite everyone's hectic schedule." Cheon Mujin said as he stood up from his seat and bowed lightly with a smile.

The way Cheon Mujin smiled at them really usettles them. There was no warmth or hospitality but instead it was full of cunningness and political intent.

"Haha! No need to be like that, we came here to discuss the well being of our cult! How can we not make time?" Said Kyung Bongi with a smile.

"Thank you for your graciousness, Sword Clan Leader." Cheon Mujin intoned then he turned towards the direction of the acting Clan Head of Wise Clan and said.

"Lady Mu, I really do appreciate you coming here despite what happened between me and Wise Clan Mu Jinwon." Said Cheon Mujin towards Lady Mu with an apologetic tone and eyes.

"There's no such thing, First Elder, what happened was the result of a fair and square duel, there's no one to blame but my previous clan leader's incompetence." Lady Mu said to Cheon Mujin to which he laughed.

"Hahaha! I appreciate your outstanding understanding, Lady Mu." The latter laughed, then he turned his head towards Baek Oh and greeted him with the same smile.

"Clan Leader Baek, I'm really sorry about what happened to Cheon Jongsum, if only I were there to stop Cheon Yeowun, sigh… my poor brother." He said to which Baek Oh squinted his eyes.

'You bastard were there! You stopped me from killing him you fucking hypocritical bastard!' Shouted Baek Oh inside his mind as his brows creased from Cheon Mujin's hypocritical word.

"It was inevitable First Elder. What happened was the result of my grandson's incompetency."

'And also your interjection you damne hypocrite.'

They all exchanged pleasantries with one another until Ja Jinkeng finally broke the ice.

"As much as we appreciate your invitation, may we ask what the real purpose of this is?" He asked to which Cheon Mujin smiled. Then he pulled out four papers from his sleeves and handed it over to them through telekinesis.

Emerald Serpent Clan Dominance Contract

This contract, effective from the date of signing, forcefully acknowledges the surrender of power, assets, and authority by the subservient clans, namely Sword Clan, Wise Clan, Poison Clan, and Spring Clan, to the unquestionable dominance of the Emerald Serpent Clan, under the indomitable leadership of Cheon Mujin. The terms and conditions outlined below shall be adhered to under the looming shadow of Emerald Serpent Clan's supremacy:

**1. Unquestionable Subjugation:**

- Each subservient clan, represented by Kyung Bon-gi (Sword Clan), Lady Mu (Wise Clan), Baek Oh (Poison Clan), and Ja Jinkeng (Spring Clan), shall irrevocably submit to the absolute authority of the Emerald Serpent Clan, without question or dissent.

**2. Relentless Extraction of Assistance:**

- Each subservient clan is bound to provide ceaseless forms of assistance—financial, martial, or political—incessantly demanded by the insatiable needs and desires of the Emerald Serpent Clan, with immediate and unwavering compliance expected.

**3. Total Asset Appropriation:**

- The Emerald Serpent Clan, now and forevermore, shall seize complete control and ownership of all assets, resources, and territories previously held by the subservient clans, reducing them to mere remnants of their former selves.

**4. Obedient Subsumed Authority:**

- The authority of each subservient clan is now entirely subsumed under the unyielding jurisdiction of the Emerald Serpent Clan. All decisions, irrespective of their nature, shall be dictated by the will of the Emerald Serpent Clan, with no room for negotiation or autonomy.

**5. Conditional Protection and Support:**

- The Emerald Serpent Clan graciously offers conditional protection and support to each subservient clan, contingent upon their unflinching servitude and compliance with the directives issued by the Emerald Serpent Clan.

**6. Tolerated Recognition of Past Traditions:**

- The Emerald Serpent Clan begrudgingly tolerates a superficial acknowledgment of the past traditions and values of each subservient clan, provided they do not interfere with the absolute dominion of the Emerald Serpent Clan.

**7. Illusory Retention of Identity:**

- While each subservient clan may maintain the façade of their name and identity, it shall be nothing more than an illusory semblance, concealing the stark reality of their complete assimilation into the Emerald Serpent Clan's hegemony.

**8. Fear-Inducing Mutual Commitment:**

- All parties are compelled to abide by the terms of this contract under the constant threat of severe consequences, instigated by the relentless might of the Emerald Serpent Clan, ensuring the perpetual submission and servitude of the subservient clans.

This contract is coercively binding and will remain in effect until the Emerald Serpent Clan deems otherwise. Any semblance of resistance or breach of these terms shall be met with swift and ruthless consequences, dictated solely by the indomitable will of the Emerald Serpent Clan.

The paper Cheon Mujin handed was a contract. A contract of complete surrender to be exact.

"What the hell is the meaning of this!?" Kung Bon-gi shouted as he slammed his hands on the table, destroying it.

He released his aura threatening to attack Cheon Mujin at any given moment.

"Are you trying to ridicule us First Elder!!" Bake Oh stood up from his seat and released some gaseous poison from his aura and directed it at Cheon Mujin.

"This is unacceptable! How dare you look down on us!" Ja Jinkeng of Spring Clan roared.

"What you are doing is an overstepping of authority First Elder, we will not tolerate such behavior." Said Lady Mu.
